Asa is the sixth studio album by the German Viking metal band Falkenbach. It was released in 2013 on Prophecy Productions.
Matti Salo (born 1980), professionally known as Asa and previously as Avain, is a Finnish rapper. He is also a member of a hip hop and reggae group Jätkäjätkät.
In the early 2000s, Salo was signed to Warner Music Finland. Under his initial stage name Avain, he released his debut album Punainen tiili in 2001. With its socially conscious lyrics, the album is considered to be one of the most important Finnish hip hop albums of all time. Soon after its release, Salo parted ways with his record company and went on a few years hiatus.
While the rights to his former stage name remained at Warner Music, Salo emerged in 2004 with his current alias Asa. To date, he has released nine studio albums, two of which have reached number two on the Finnish Albums Chart, along with three albums with the group Jätkäjätkät.
Asa is a given name in several parts of the world.
Send or SEND may refer to:
HM Prison Send is a closed category women's prison in the extreme south of Ripley nearer Send in Surrey, England. Its post town is Woking. The prison is operated by Her Majesty's Prison Service.
A smallpox isolation hospital on its site became a prison in 1962 when it opened as a Junior Detention Centre. It remained as such until 1987 when it was re-classified as a Category C Adult Male Training Prison. Send was demolished and completely rebuilt by 1999, opening as a closed Female Training Prison.
In August 2005, a report by the Independent Monitoring Board criticised a marked increase in self-harm and suicide amongst inmates and lack of staff, whereas it praised the prison's education provision and its farms and gardens scheme.
Send is a closed prison for adult females. In addition it also houses a 20 bed Addictive Treatment Unit, an 80 bed Resettlement Unit and a 40 bed Therapeutic Community.
HMP Sends Education Department runs Key Skills courses and NVQs in Business Administration. The Farms and Gardens department offers Floristry NVQs, and the Works Department run an industrial workshop and painting party. Prisoners held in the Resettlement Unit can also do voluntary work, attend College courses and Work Placements in the outside community.
The ampersand is the logogram "&", representing the conjunction word "and". It originated as a ligature of the letters et, Latin for "and".
The word ampersand is a corruption of the phrase "and per se & (and)", meaning "and intrinsically the word and (represented by the symbol &)".
Traditionally, when reciting the alphabet in English-speaking schools, any letter that could also be used as a word in itself ("A", "I", and, at one point, "O") was repeated with the Latin expression per se ("by itself"). This habit was useful in spelling where a word or syllable was repeated after spelling; e.g. "d, o, g—dog" would be clear but simply saying "a—a" would be confusing without the clarifying "per se" added. It was also common practice to add the "&" sign at the end of the alphabet as if it were the 27th letter, pronounced as the Latin et or later in English as and. As a result, the recitation of the alphabet would end in "X, Y, Z, and per se and". This last phrase was routinely slurred to "ampersand" and the term had entered common English usage by 1837. However, in contrast to the 26 letters, the ampersand does not represent a speech sound—although other characters that were dropped from the English alphabet did, such as the Old English thorn, wynn, and eth.
Sign is the seventh album by Clock DVA, released on August 3, 1993 through Contempo Records.

Oh, I spread my wings
Maybe, we could fly
Every time we walk into the light
There's no world outside.
Oh, I'll cry for you
so come close to me
When you hold my hand you hold my heart,
I'll send you, send you a sign.
There are so many dreams reflected in your face
Through the tears I'll see your eyes
I can't restrain how I feel
Ehh, I need your love
But I have to go
When you hold my hand you hold my heart
I'll send you, send you a sign.
ESTRIBILLO:
Oh, I wanna be feeling your love
I want to be the one and know you'll stay by my side
Oh, I wanna be feeling so close
But I'm going to leave this town and this time I'll lose your fire.
