Geography

Senawang is situated about 7 kilometres from Seremban town. It is located in a higher-level flat terrain than other towns in Seremban. The terrain is suitable for industry.

Demographics

Bahasa Melayu — the national language, is one of the principal languages of Senawang. Other major languages spoken in the town are Mandarin, Cantonese and Tamil. English has a strong presence, especially in business and is a compulsory language taught in schools.

High number of residents in Senawang attracted developers to build commercial parks. The most notable is Senawang Commercial Park and hypermarkets such as Giant and Mcd are now the main attraction in Senawang.

Senawang Sentral is strategically located next to the Tuanku Jaafar Light Industrial area and this development is a natural extension of the existing matured light industrial growth area of Senawang. It is conveniently link to major highway via a 1-km drive from Senawang Interchange and is just minutes away from Giant Hypermarket and Senawang Commercial Park (well known as Taipan of Senawang).
