"The Difference" is the third single from The Wallflowers' 1996 album, Bringing Down the Horse. The single was released in mid-1997. Though it did not achieve the chart-topping success of previous single "One Headlight" on either Billboard rock chart, it spent 8 weeks at #3 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, and peaked at #5 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart. It also peaked at #23 on the Hot 100 Airplay charts in 1997.
The Difference is the first full-length release from UK skate punk band Pendleton. It was released on 1 July 2008 by Angry Penguin Records. It followed the band's previously released EP, You, by Us.
The Difference was recorded at NADA Studios in New Windsor, New York with producer John Naclerio, famed for working with bands such as My Chemical Romance, Senses Fail, Bayside and Brand New.
Despite the success of the band's previous release, You, by Us and the high profile production of The Difference, the band parted ways soon after the release of the album. Whilst no statement has been forthcoming from the band as the reasons behind the split, several line up changes occurred immediately prior to the recording of the The Difference (particularly the departure of original frontman Mike Hayes). It is possible that this instability led to the bands downfall.

In any quantitative science, the terms relative change and relative difference are used to compare two quantities while taking into account the "sizes" of the things being compared. The comparison is expressed as a ratio and is a unitless number. By multiplying these ratios by 100 they can be expressed as percentages so the terms percentage change, percent(age) difference, or relative percentage difference are also commonly used. The distinction between "change" and "difference" depends on whether or not one of the quantities being compared is considered a standard or reference or starting value. When this occurs, the term relative change (with respect to the reference value) is used and otherwise the term relative difference is preferred. Relative difference is often used as a quantitative indicator of quality assurance and quality control for repeated measurements where the outcomes are expected to be the same. A special case of percent change (relative change expressed as a percentage) called percent error occurs in measuring situations where the reference value is the accepted or actual value (perhaps theoretically determined) and the value being compared to it is experimentally determined (by measurement).
In set theory, a complement of a set A refers to things not in (that is, things outside of) A. The relative complement of A with respect to a set B is the set of elements in B but not in A. When all sets under consideration are considered to be subsets of a given set U, the absolute complement of A is the set of all elements in U but not in A.
If A and B are sets, then the relative complement of A in B, also termed the set-theoretic difference of B and A, is the set of elements in B, but not in A.
The relative complement of A in B is denoted B ∖ A according to the ISO 31-11 standard (sometimes written B – A, but this notation is ambiguous, as in some contexts it can be interpreted as the set of all b – a, where b is taken from B and a from A).

The following lists some notable properties of relative complements in relation to the set-theoretic operations of union and intersection.
Kmc and KMC may refer to:
Ken Marlon Charles a.k.a. KMC (born January 5, 1971) is a soca artist from Trinidad. Famous for hits like "Soul on Fire", "Soca Bashment" and "Bashment to Carnival" KMC is signed to the US-based record label Sequence Records. Considered to be one of Trinidad's top soca artists, KMC has over sixteen years experience in the music industry. He has made a name for himself as a solo artist, songwriter, producer and frontman of the band Red, White & Black.
KMC is one of nine children. He was born and raised in the village of Rio Claro and then moved to Chaguanas, where he has resided for the past eleven years. The road to success for KMC has been filled with both high and low moments. Probably the lowest was the day when, strapped with hunger, he resorted to cracking open a dry coconut in the yard of his one-room home in Laventille, putting a milk pan on a kerosene burner and flavoring the coconut with only a little end of curry powder.
KMC always had a passion for music. As a young child he used to sneak about and listen to the bands in his village. "At the age of seven, I used to go under the house by the band and when they weren't around I would play the drum set." As time marched on, the same energy and precociousness that brought the young KMC to the drum set also brought him to teach himself how to play music. "Music is something I was never taught. I was never taught to play the keyboard. I learned to do everything on my own. Love is what made me master it. Everything I do is by ear and not by reading," he proclaims.
The words are sowly sinking in
Despair comes unexpected
Everything falls out of place
Now my imagination
It moves in all directions
I can only see your face
Now please don't leave
I'm caught in the middle
It pulls me down to no one goes
So you need to find out
If there's a chace for us
What a difference it makes
Waking up here without you
Baby, we can make this right
Water's so much colder
I was lasting longer
Ever since you went away
Having a different point of view
Doesn't make it right for you
To decide that you don't have to stay
Now please don't leave me
I'm caught in the middle
It pulls me down to no one goes
So you need to find out
If there's a chace for us
What a difference it makes
Waking up here without you
Baby, we can make this right
This heart can not erase you
After year replace you
Don't you think that's kind of sad
Now please don't leave me
I'm caught in the middle
It pulls me down to no one goes
So you need to find out
If there's a chace for us
What a difference it makes
Waking up here without you
Baby, we can make this right
