P-Model made a demo in 1979 to obtain a recording contract; it features 2 songs, each one being composed by Susumu Hirasawa and Yasumi Tanaka, P-Model's main songwriters at the time. The band negotiated with 8 record labels, in the end, they chose to sign a contract with Warner-Pioneer, all P-MODEL releases from 1979 to 1981 (3 albums and 3 singles) were handled by Warner-Pioneer, including IN A MODEL ROOM, the album where both of these songs were included. Hirasawa also gave a copy to Plastics keyboardist Masahide Sakuma after a Plastics show after asking him to produce In a Model Room, which Sakuma accepted. Due to the demo nature of the recordings, they are rawer and punkier than the studio recorded versions. The demo was released by Hirasawa's SYUN label in 1994 as a bonus for those who bought both OOPARTS and Pause, the first release of the SYUN label (due to its nature, the demo received a catalogue number outside of the standard numbering convention of the SYUN label). The demo was remastered by Hirasawa and re-released on the Ashu-on [Sound Subspecies] in the solar system box set on 10 May 2002; it was put on CD 13, with SCUBA RECYCLE, Air On The Wiring and the In a Model Room outtake WHITE SHOES.
Demo is a demo EP, as well as the first release, by American punk rock band Hostage Calm. The EP was released on August 14, 2007 through Headcount Records.
All music composed by Hostage Calm.
Jonathan Monroe "Jonny" Craig (born March 26, 1986) is an American-Canadian singer and songwriter. He is currently working as a solo musician and as the lead vocalist for the band Slaves. He has been the lead vocalist for the bands Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa, Ghost Runner on Third, and westerHALTS. As a solo artist, he has released one studio album, two EPs and a live album to date. He was also a part of the supergroup Isles & Glaciers. Craig possesses the vocal range of a baritenor and his distinct type of soul-based singing has earned him considerable acclaim.
Jonathan Monroe Craig was born in Abbotsford, British Columbia. In a further interview with the music blog Eat Yo Beats, Jonny said "my mom made me listen to tons of shit when I was kid, everything from Michael Bolton to some weird ass Christian rock bands" and also that it was this that became his main influence, rather than gospel music. Craig cites some of his early idols as Boyz II Men and New Found Glory. He was put into the school choir as a default elective but was ultimately kicked out. As a child, he says that he "had a hard time keeping out of trouble" and that "high school wasn't for him." He would explain later that that was the reason he left high school and attained his G.E.D, then focused on music full-time. "I just wanted an escape from a lot of the things when I was a child I guess. I just wanted to get away from a lot of the problems that I was dealing with at home and stuff", Craig states in an interview with KLSU radio as his reason for starting his path in music.
Cruelty is indifference to suffering, and even pleasure in inflicting it. Sadism can also be related to this form of action or concept. Cruel ways of inflicting suffering may involve violence, but affirmative violence is not necessary for an act to be cruel. For example, if a person is drowning and begging for help, and another person is able to help, but merely watches with disinterest or perhaps mischievous amusement, that person is being cruel — rather than violent.
George Eliot stated that "cruelty, like every other vice, requires no motive outside of itself; it only requires opportunity." Bertrand Russell stated that "the infliction of cruelty with a good conscience is a delight to moralists. That is why they invented Hell."Gilbert K. Chesterton stated that "cruelty is, perhaps, the worst kind of sin. Intellectual cruelty is certainly the worst kind of cruelty."
The term cruelty is often used in law and criminology with regard to the treatment of animals, children, spouses, and prisoners. When cruelty to animals is discussed, it often refers to unnecessary suffering. In criminal law, it refers to punishment, torture, victimization, draconian measures, and cruel and unusual punishment. In divorce cases, many jurisdictions permit a cause of action for cruel and inhumane treatment.
Cruel is a video game for Microsoft Windows based on Perseverance, a solitaire card game. Cruel was published by Microsoft in 1990 as part of the Microsoft Entertainment Pack for Windows 3.0. Cruel has since been remade for other platforms by several vendors.
Cruel uses a standard deck of 52 playing cards. The aces are placed face up to act as the foundations, upon which the suits will be built in sequence. The rest of the cards are shuffled and then dealt in 12 tableau piles, each with four cards.
The aim of the game is to place all the cards on the foundation piles, ordered from ace to king, using an unlimited number of moves.
For each move the player chooses any one of the top (exposed) cards from a tableau pile and places it either:
Only one card may be moved at a time.
Kiss is the ninth studio album of German band Bad Boys Blue. It was released on September 27, 1993 by Coconut Records. One single was also released. John McInerney performed "Kiss You All Over, Baby" which before had been sung by Trevor Taylor. The song "Save Your Love" from the previous album was performed here as "Aguarda Tu Amorin" in Spanish. The song "Kisses And Tears" is taken from the second album.
This record was the last with Trevor Bannister. In 1993, Bad Boys Blue toured around Africa with singer Owen Standing who never was an official band member.
I saw my pictures hangin' on her wall
She cut it out of that magazine
It was a hot day she wore lingerie
And nothin' else in between, ooh
She had long hair and thigh high, snake skin boots
And she was all over me like a cheap suit
Then she bared herself, aha
And stripped my soul
Began to shake, rattle, and roll
Then I took control, yeah
But I know she's secretly cruel
I ain't nobody's fool
Yeah, I know she's secretly cruel
Just when I thought it was safe
She puts her lips to my face
She's secretly, secretly cruel
Well she grabbed my hair and I began to rise
I could tell what she wanted by that look in her eyes
(Oh)
Ow, by that look in her eyes, yeah
I said, "Come here babe and make it quick"
She said, "Not so fast" and had a drink
Well it ain't just luck
But I better knock on wood
She's gonna give me everythin'
Somehow I knew she would
Oh, but I know she's secretly cruel
I ain't nobody's fool
Well, I know she's secretly cruel
I said, "Baby you're the fire, but I am the fuel"
She's secretly, secretly cruel
Yeah, so cruel
Well it ain't just luck
(Ain't just luck)
But I better knock on wood, yeah
She's gonna give me everythin'
Somehow, I knew she would
Oh, but I know she's secretly cruel
I ain't nobody's fool, nobody's fool
(Secretly)
She's so cruel
I'm in love but I don't play the fool
(Secretly)
She's so cruel
(Secretly)
So cruel
(Cruel)
Yeah
(Cruel)
Yeah
(Cruel)
Yeah
I know she's
(Secretly)
She's so cruel
(Secretly)
So cruel
(Cruel)
Yeah
(Cruel)
Yeah
(Cruel)
Yeah
I know she's
(Secretly)
She's so cruel
(Secretly)
She's so
(Cruel)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
(Secretly, secretly)
