Sean O'Hagan
Sean O'Hagan is an Irish musician who has been a member of Microdisney, The High Llamas and Stereolab.
O'Hagan is, alongside Cathal Coughlan, a founding member of Irish indie band Microdisney; the band initially formed in Cork but was based in London from 1982 until their split in 1988. He released the solo album High Llamas in 1990, using that as the name for the band he subsequently formed.The High Llamas released a number of highly acclaimed albums, showing influences as diverse as The Beach Boys, Ennio Morricone, Antonio Carlos Jobim and avant-garde electronica. He has also collaborated extensively with Stereolab, playing in the band until 1994 and appearing as a guest musician on later releases. In 1996 he collaborated with Tim Gane as Turn On, releasing an album of the same name on Drag City Records. They also worked together on the soundtrack to the film La Vie d'Artiste. He provided string arrangements for several Super Furry Animals albums. He guested on The Heavy Blinkers 2013 album Health.

Sean O'Hagan is a writer for The Guardian and The Observer, specialising in photography.
O'Hagan was brought up in Armagh during "the troubles", and has written about the experience. As an undergraduate, he studied English in London.
O'Hagan started as a writer for NME, The Face and Arena, and during this period became interested in photography. As of 2013, he is one of six regular "Art and design" critics for The Guardian website, and the only photography critic among the six.
On 18 March 2003 O'Hagan received the 2002 British Press Award for Interviewer of the Year.
O'Hagan is a nominator for the Prix Pictet Award in photography and sustainability.
In 2011 O'Hagan was the sole recipient of the J Dudley Johnston Award from the Royal Photographic Society "for major achievement in the field of photographic criticism".

Sean O'Hagan (strongman)
Sean O'Hagan (born 1990) is a professional Irish strongman competitor. He is trained by former professional strongman and fellow Northern Ireland man Glenn Ross. O'Hagan's first major success was becoming Ulster's Strongman Man in 2014, aged 24, many years off his prime and the competition's youngest winner to date.
He is noted for his large physical size. At 212 cm (a shade under 7 feet) in height, he is the tallest currently active professional strongman competitor and indeed, amongst the tallest in history. His weight of 200 kg (over 400 lb, or over 30 st) also makes him one of the heaviest strongmen around.
