Savli is a village near Vadodara, one of the GIDC is very near to it. The famous companies that are in the this GIDC are Bombardier Transportation, Thermax etc. Natvarnagar is one of the village of savli block. The branch of Santram temple is also located in this village. It is located near MahiSagar River. This is a village of Rajputs. The main crop of this village is tobacco.

The Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) was established under the Gujarat Industrial Development Act of 1962, with a goal of accelerating industrialization in the state of Gujarat, India. One main role of the GIDC is to identify locations suitable for industrial development and create industrial estates with infrastructure such as roads, drainage, electricity, water supply, street lights, and ready-to-occupy factory sheds. The infrastructure of certain estates has been built for specific industries, and engineering estates throughout Gujarat. Some GIDC estates also have low-cost housing for workers and executives of tenant businesses, and many of the larger estates include amenities and commercial facilities such as banks, shopping complexes, schools, dispensaries, telecommunications centers, police stations, and community halls.

A Movia-car manufacturing and Electrical component manufacturing Plant is located in Savli, Vadodara. It was opened in 2009,which brought Savvli on the World map. The plant manufactures coaches for Delhi Metro. The plant houses various manufacturing units along with a 2.5 Kms of testing metro track. Around 500 people are employed with the plant.
