Roberto Zanetti

Roberto Zanetti (born November 28, 1956) is an Italian singer, music producer, composer and businessman from Massa, Tuscany. As a singer he is known under the stage name Savage, and as a music producer he uses the alias Robyx.

He has founded several companies: Robyx Productions, Extravaganza Publishing and DWA Records.

Zanetti has produced and written music for several artists other than himself, including Ice MC, Double You, Alexia and Zucchero.

Vocal career

Since 1983, Zanetti has recorded under the stage name Savage. His song "Don't Cry Tonight" was successful across Europe and has been frequently remixed since. The same year, he recorded "Only You", a slow disco number which has also become significantly popular. His first album, Tonight was commercially successful and preceded singles like "Radio", "Time", "A Love Again", "Celebrate", and "Love Is Death". In 1989, he recorded "I Just Died In Your Arms" (a Hi-NRG remake of the Cutting Crew song), as well as a greatest hits album. In 1994, he released another album, Strangelove, containing a number of remixes of his older songs and four mixes of the song "Strangelove" (originally by Depeche Mode). The last single which was released by Savage was "Don't You Want Me", which appeared on his own label, Dance World Attack Records (DWA) in 1994. This track does not appear on the Strangelove album. After a fifteen-year silence, he released "Twothousandnine" as a single in October 2009.

Savage (video game)

Savage is an action video game developed by Probe Software and published by Firebird Software in 1988 for ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST and DOS. In 1989 Firebird published a version for the Amiga.

Gameplay

Savage is a three-part game; the first part is side-scrolling level with a muscular hero warrior fighting his way in a castle dungeon; the second is a 3D into-the-screen action sequence where the player has to shoot targets while avoiding monstrous stone heads; the third level a bird has to find its way in a 2d scrolling maze, collect four keys and reach the exit.

The story is a swords and sorcery fantasy, with the muscular hero in the end rescuing his 'maiden love' from the clutches of the "Dark Guardian".

Critical reaction

Your Sinclair awarded the game 9 out of 10, praising the detailed and colourful graphics achieved with the Spectrum.

The Commodore 64/128 version of the game was reviewed in 1990 in Dragon #155 by Hartley, Patricia, and Kirk Lesser in "The Role of Computers" column. The reviewers gave the game 4 out of 5 stars. The reviewers complimented the game, stating, "Savage is one of the best C64/128 arcade games we’ve played lately. Especially of note is the game's music, which is of extraordinarily high quality. The graphic sprites are well designed, and play is fast." They concluded the review by saying, "Yes, Savage is savage—on both your joystick palm and fire-button finger. If you aren’t quick, you’re dead. [...] Savage is a very good arcade/fantasy game and is well named!"

In Flames

In Flames is a Swedish metal band from Gothenburg, formed in 1990. Since the band's inception, they have released eleven studio albums, three EPs, and one live DVD. As of 2008, In Flames has sold over 2 million records worldwide.

History

Formation (1990–1993)

In Flames was founded in 1990 by Jesper Strömblad as a side project from his then-current death metal band, Ceremonial Oath. His purpose was to write songs with a more melodic musical direction, something which he was not allowed to do in Ceremonial Oath. In 1993, Strömblad decided to quit Ceremonial Oath due to musical differences and began focusing more on In Flames. That same year, Strömblad recruited Glenn Ljungström on guitar and Johan Larsson on bass guitar to form the first official In Flames line-up.

The trio recorded a demo and sent it to Wrong Again Records. In order to increase their chances of getting signed to the label, the group lied and said they had thirteen songs already recorded, when in fact they only had three. The owner of the label enjoyed the music, and immediately signed them to the label.

Flames stylized as F.L.A.M.E.S. is a youth-oriented Filipino drama anthology series produced and aired by ABS-CBN. The series was broadcast from November 11, 1996 to March 8, 2002 every weekday afternoons.

Flames is a 1997 Philippine film produced by Star Cinema. The movie was also a first anniversary offering of its Primetime TV Series that ran from 1996 to 2002. It served for five years as an afternoon weekday drama.

Jillian Rose Banks (born June 16, 1988), known simply as Banks (often stylized as BANKS), is an American singer and songwriter from Orange County, California. She releases music under Harvest Records, Good Years Recordings and IAMSOUND Records imprints of the major label Universal Music Group.

She has toured internationally with The Weeknd and was also nominated for the Sound of 2014 award by the BBC and an MTV Brand New Nominee in 2014. On May 3, 2014, Banks was dubbed as an "Artist to Watch" by FoxWeekly.

Early life

Jillian Rose Banks was born in Orange County, California. Banks started writing songs at the age of fifteen. She taught herself piano when she received a keyboard from a friend to help her through her parents' divorce. She says she "felt very alone and helpless. I didn't know how to express what I was feeling or who to talk to."

Career

2013–present: Breakthrough and Goddess

Banks used the audio distribution website SoundCloud to put out her music before securing a record deal. Her friend Lily Collins used her contacts to pass along her music to people in the industry; specifically Katy Perry's DJ Yung Skeeter, and she began working with the label Good Years Recordings. Her first official single, called "Before I Ever Met You" was released in February 2013. The song which had been on a private SoundCloud page ended up being played by BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe. Banks released her first EP Fall Over by IAMSOUND Records and Good Years Recordings.Billboard called her a "magnetic writer with songs to obsess over." Banks released her second EP called London by Harvest Records and Good Years Recordings in 2013 to positive reviews from music critics, receiving a 78 from Metacritic. Her song "Waiting Game" from the EP was featured in the 2013 Victoria's Secret holiday commercial.

Plot

The story starts with a girl Kathereine Collins going to a private GYN clinic, located in Manhattan, New York, where she is undergoing treatment for some Gynac ailments. Simultaneously she has started having seizures where in she smells a repulsive and oddly familiar odor and then loses consciousness. She wants to withdraw her records from this clinic and move onto her hometown to her family doctor. While on her way back, she faints at the elevators. The next scene shows her parents visiting her apartment and the cops searching the room as she has been missing for some days now. The story revolves around the protagonist Dr. Martin Philips from then on, who is a doctor in neuroradiology at the NYC medical center. Dr. Martin Philips, a 41-year-old neuroradiologist is involved in creating a self-diagonstic x-ray machine, along with Michaels, who is a researcher graduating from MIT and also head of the department of artificial intelligence. Dr. Philips's girlfriend and colleague Dr. Denise Sanger (28 years old) is also involved in the same hospital.
