Sanya is a city in Hainan, China.

Sanya (Chinese: 三亚) is the southernmost city on Hainan Island, and one of the four prefecture-level cities of Hainan Province, in Southeast China.
According to the 2010 Census, the population of Sanya is of 685,408 inhabitants, living in an area of 1,919.58 square kilometres (741.15 sq mi). The city is renowned for its tropical climate and has emerged as a popular tourist destination, also serving as the training site of the Chinese national beach volleyball team. Sanya is home to small concentrations of Utsul people.
Known in ancient times as Yazhou, postal romanization: Aichow (崖州), literally "cliff state or prefecture", Sanya's history dates to the Qin Dynasty (221–206 BCE). Due to its remoteness from the political centers during the Imperial China eras on Mainland China, Sanya was sometimes called Tianya Haijiao (天涯海角), meaning "the end of the sky and ocean" or "the end of the earth". As a result, the city served as a place of exile for officials who found themselves out of favor with the country's rulers.

First appearing in Storm Front, Bob is a "spirit of intellect" who inhabits a skull perched on a shelf in Harry Dresden's secret lab. He is bound to the skull and its owner's wishes. He is free to leave the skull if given permission by his owner, but he will die if exposed to significant sunlight without a host body. His usual vessel is Harry's cat, Mister, who does not seem to mind Bob's presence. He is a major character in both the book and television series. In the television series, he is portrayed as an incorporeal human bound to the skull, and is played by Terrence Mann.

The airstrip is about 3,400 meters long and 60 meters wide, which satisfies requirements for take off and landing of a fully weighted Boeing 747, Airbus 340 and other large aircraft. In 2014, Sanya Airport handled 14,942,356 passengers, making it the 19th busiest airport in China in terms of passengers, and 24th busiest in terms of movements with 102,074 in 2014. Known for its small size, it plays a vital part in bringing tourists into Sanya.
Sanya Phoenix Airport Railway Station of the Hainan Western Ring High-Speed Railway, opened on the 30th of December, 2015, is located just north of the airport. Initially, it connects on the Sanya Railway Station on the Hainan Eastern Ring High-Speed Railway (10 km to the east), and provides frequent high-speed rail service to a number of points along Hainan's eastern coast.
