Samantha Johnson

Samantha Carrie Johnson (born November 9, 1984) is an actress, filmmaker, and beauty queen from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who competed in the Miss USA pageant in 2007. She is the niece of E. Lamont Johnson and goddaughter of Alfre Woodard.

Johnson won the Miss Pennsylvania USA 2007 title in a state pageant held on November 19, 2006. It was her first attempt at the title. Johnson represented Pennsylvania in the Miss USA 2007 pageant broadcast live from the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles, California on March 23, 2007, but did not place.

Johnson graduated from W.B. Saul High School of Agricultural Sciences in 2002 and completed a film major degree from Temple University in May 2006. She is a close family friend of Candace Allen, Miss District of Columbia USA 2006.

In 2007 Johnson founded a non-profit organization called Republic of Promise that helps impoverished children in the West African country of Liberia.

In 2008-2009 Johnson co-owned Soul BYOB, a creole concept restaurant located in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania. In 2009 she was featured as a cast member on The Chopping Block, a restaurant based reality show hosted by the British three-Michelin-star chef Marco Pierre White.

America's Got Talent (season 10)

Season ten of the reality competition series America's Got Talent was the 10th anniversary of the reality series and premiered on May 26, 2015. It concluded on September 16, 2015. Nick Cannon returned as host for his seventh season. Howie Mandel returned for his sixth season as judge while Howard Stern returned for his fourth and final season. Mel B and Heidi Klum both returned for their third season on the judging panel. This was also the first season with an all-male finale.

On July 29, the show aired a special two-hour tenth anniversary retrospective episode. The series returned to Radio City Music Hall in New York for the live shows, which began Tuesday, August 11.

Stern announced on his radio show that this season would be his last season as a judge due to a busy work schedule.

Dunkin' Donuts replaced Snapple as sponsor of the show after three seasons. Four guest judges were invited to judge during the judge's cuts; actor Neil Patrick Harris, singer Michael Bublé, actor Marlon Wayans and former judge Piers Morgan. Ventriloquist Paul Zerdin was voted the winner for the season on September 16, 2015. Comedian Drew Lynch was the runner-up.

Samantha Johnson (born June 10, 1991) is an American professional soccer defender who currently plays for National Women's Soccer League club Chicago Red Stars.

Playing career

Chicago Red Stars (NWSL)

In March 2014, Johnson joined Chicago Red Stars in the National Women's Soccer League for their preseason, after attending their 2014 Open Tryouts. Johnson played 12 games and tallied one assist, before suffering from facial lacerations in a game against the Western New York Flash on June 18. This ended the rookie's season.

Sydney FC

In September 2014, it was announced that Johnson was to be loaned to Sydney FC in the W-League (Australia). She tallied two assists in her first two games.

Personal life

Johnson has a sponsorship for headbands.
