Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students
The Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) is an evangelical Christian parachurch organisation that aims to encourage university students to believe in and follow Jesus Christ. It is affiliated with, and in 1947 was a founding member of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students.
History
The young English evangelist, Howard Guinness, toured Australia in 1930 to encourage university students in evangelism. He helped form campus student groups starting in Sydney, then Melbourne, Brisbane and Hobart, including Sydney University Evangelical Union (SUEU) and Melbourne University Christian Union (MUCU - originally the Melbourne University Evangelical Union), which celebrated their 75th anniversaries in 2005. Guinness returned in 1933-1934 and founded groups in Perth and Adelaide.
These groups, led by the SUEU and the MUCU, joined together to form a network in 1936 as the Australian Intervarsity Fellowship or IVF, which later changed its name to the AFES in 1973. It had over 2000 members by 1959 and today has groups in over 50 campuses across the country in every state and territory, and employs over 100 staffworkers who look after the students on their various campuses.
Salt (Lizz Wright album)
Salt is the first album by singer and composer Lizz Wright, released in 2003 (see 2003 in music). It reached number two on the Billboard Top Contemporary Jazz chart.

Salt (Forget Cassettes album)
Following the departure of percussionist Doni Schroader in 2005, Forget Cassettes' Beth Cameron recruited Nashville drummer Aaron Ford and Apollo Up!'s Jay Leo Phillips on bass, guitar, keys, and backing vocals. The record was released in 2006 on Theory 8 Records, and eventually given a European release on March 5, 2007, courtesy of One Little Indian Records. The European release featured a bonus track entitled "Sleeper".

Opus (Schiller album)
Opus is the eighth studio album of the music project Schiller created by the German electronic musician Christopher Von Deylen. The album was announced on July 1, 2013 (2013-07-01) and was released on August 30, 2013 (2013-08-30). On this album Schiller has collaborated with Russian operatic soprano Anna Netrebko, French pianist Hélène Grimaud and German classical oboist Albrecht Mayer. Opus is the first release of the new label "Panorama" by Deutsche Grammophon. The album reached in its first week number 1 of the German albums chart and number 6 in Switzerland and number 10 in Austria. These are the highest entries of Schiller in Austria and Switzerland and the fourth number-1-album of Schiller in Germany. Schiller has received a Gold award in Germany in December 2013 for 100.000 sold albums of Opus. In 2014 there will be a reedition of the album: Opus - White Album.
Album
The album Opus combines electronic music with classical music such as Swan Lake. It's also inspired by and based on songs such as Gymnopédie no. 1 by Erik Satie, Edvard Grieg's Solveig's Song, Sergei Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody On A Theme Of Paganini op. 43 and Claude Debussy's Reverie. After Schiller already released some singles with classical influences such as "Ein schöner Tag" (2000) with German singer Isgaard and "Time for Dreams" (2008) with Chinese pianist Lang Lang, it's the first completely classical inspired album of Schiller. Originally it was planned as a purely instrumental album, but then it was supplemented with vocals during the developing process. For the creation of the album Christopher von Deylen travelled to the Coachella Valley in California, USA. The performances of Anna Netrebko were recorded in the Dvorák Hall of the Rudolfinum in Prague, Hélène Grimaud's performances were recorded at the Kaufman Astoria Studios in New York City, Diana Tishchenko's and Albrecht Mayer's performances were recorded at the b-sharp Studios in Berlin.
Opus (Eric Prydz album)
Opus is the debut studio album by Swedish DJ Eric Prydz. It was released on 5 February 2016 in Sweden through Virgin Records. The album includes the singles "Every Day", "Liberate", "Generate", "Opus", "Breathe" and "Last Dragon".

"Every Day" was released as the lead single from the album on 15 October 2012, the song has charted in Belgium and the Netherlands. "Liberate" was released as the second single from the album on 3 June 2014, the song has charted in Belgium. "Generate" was released as the third single from the album on 18 June 2015. "Opus" was released as the fourth single from the album on 17 August 2015, the song has charted in Belgium. "Breathe" was released as the fifth single from the album on 8 January 2016. "Last Dragon" was released as the sixth single from the album on 2 February 2016.

Opus (mythology)
In Greek mythology, Opus was a son of Zeus and Protogeneia, the daughter of Deucalion. Opus was a king of the Epeians and father of Cambyse or Protogeneia.
Opus II was a son of Locrus or Zeus by Cambyse and thus a grandson of Opus the first. From him, a portion of the Locri derived their name Opuntii. (see Opus, Locris)
