Rambo may refer to:
Rambo (also known as Rambo IV, John Rambo, or Rambo: The Fight Continues) is a 2008 American-Germanindependentaction film directed, co-written by and starring Sylvester Stallone reprising his famous role as Cold War/Vietnam veteran John Rambo. It is the fourth and final installment in the Rambo franchise, twenty years since the previous film Rambo III. This film is dedicated to the memory of Richard Crenna, who played Col. Sam Trautman in the first three films, and who died of heart failure in 2003.
The film is about a former United States Army Special Forces soldier, John Rambo, who is hired by a church pastor to help rescue a group of missionaries who were kidnapped by men from a brutal Burmese military regime.
The film grossed $113,244,290 during its run at the international box office. After its home video release, it grossed $41,500,683 in DVD sales. The film had its cable television premiere on Spike TV on July 11, 2010. However, it was the extended cut that was broadcast, not the theatrical version. Produced by Studio 9, Sri Green Productions and Vijay Antony Film Corporation, the film is a sequel to Vijay Antony's debut film Naan (2012). The film was released on 29 August 2014.
Salim (Vijay Antony) is an honest and simple doctor working in a private hospital, he often goes out of his ways to help the needy patients that come to him. His talent and nature earn wrath and jealousy from his coworkers at the hospital. One fine day, he learns that someone is stalking him. He finds that it is Nisha (Aksha Pardasany) his suitor, doing a background check on his character. Salim directly goes to Nisha and gives his personal diary for her to learn more about him. This response from him impresses Nisha so much and she falls in love with Salim. As their relationship progresses, she learns that Salim has dedicated himself to his work, so much that he always fails to take care of her and spend time with her and this leads to a rift forming between them. So to reconcile with Nisha, Salim plans to spend a whole day with her. They go to a movie theatre and some goons tease Nisha, but Salim, instead of fighting them, chooses to take Nisha and leave the place. Nisha gets offended by this and she chooses to ignore Salim and his phone calls from then on.
