Shakti

In Hinduism, Shakti (Sanskrit pronunciation: [ˈʃəkt̪ɪ]) (Telugu: శక్తి) (Devanagari: शक्ति; from Sanskrit shak, "to be able"), also spelt as Sakthi or Shakthi, meaning "power" or "empowerment," is the primordial cosmic energy and represents the dynamic forces that are thought to move through the entire universe. Shakti is the concept, or personification, of divine feminine creative power, sometimes referred to as 'The Great Divine Mother' in Hinduism. As the mother she is known as Adi Parashakti or Adishakti. In her avatar as Akshara Mandhapati, her power is her uncontrollable energy. On the earthly plane, Shakti most actively manifests through female embodiment and creativity/fertility, though it is also present in males in its potential, unmanifest form.

Hindus believe that Shakti is both responsible for creation and the agent of all change. Shakti is cosmic existence as well as liberation, its most significant form being the Kundalini Shakti, a mysterious psychospiritual force.

Sakthi (TV series)

Sakthi (Tamil: சக்தி) is an Tamil soap opera on Sun TV. It is a Prime time serial. The show premiered on 2 June 2014. It aired Monday through Friday at 10:00PM IST. Its initial concept is an adaptation from North Indian Hindi serial Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava?. The show starring by Arnav and Manisha in the lead roles.

The show is produced by Cine Times Entertainment, Siddhiq and director by Sadhasivam Perumal. The show Lyrics by Yugabharathi and sung by Chinmayi. The show last aired on 27 March 2015 and ended with 205 episodes. It also aired in Sri Lanka Tamil Channel on Shakthi TV.

Plot summary

Sakthi is a Women Centric Serial with lots of twist and turn and in depth story line. The serial is based on full twist within Aarya, Prabakar and Fawaz Zayani and this serial is fully remaked by a Hindi serial Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava?.

Sakthi (1980 film)

Shakthi is a 1980 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Vijay Anand and produced by Raghu Kumar. The film stars Jayan, Seema, Srividya and Jagathy Sreekumar in lead roles. The film had musical score by KJ Joy.

Plot

The story opens with two men travelling in an ambassador's car to a bungalow, not knowing how to get there. On the way they see a black magician who is Jayan's character's uncle. They ask him the way and he points towards the bungalow. After reaching the bungalow they start talking about the area, and realise that it is deserted. They meet Jayan's character, a shapeless ghost who tells his life story and how he liked his body.
