Sadar may refer to:

Sadar (festival)

Sadar is a buffalo carnival celebrated annually by the Yadav community of Hyderabad, Telangana, India as a part of Diwali. It is also known as Dunnapothula panduga and it occurs on the second day after Diwali.

The buffaloes are decorated with garlands of flowers, painted horns, and paraded through the streets, often accompanied by the crowd dancing to the sounds of teen maar music. The animals are sometimes encouraged to rear up on their hind legs. Prizes are awarded for the best display. Mancha Mallesh Yadav and his brothers win prizes regularly

The word Sadar means main. The Sadar held in the suburb of Narayanguda Y.M.C.A is the biggest congregation of all.

Sadar, Hazaribagh is a community development block that forms an administrative division in the Hazaribagh Sadar subdivision of Hazaribagh district in the Indian state of Jharkhand.

Geography

As per 2011 Census of India Sadar, Hazaribagh CD Block had a total population of 147,609 of which 118,276 were rural 29,333 were urban. There were 78,119 males and 69,490 females. Scheduled Castes numbered 25,866 and Scheduled Tribes numbered 6,485.
