Hansa-Automobil Gesellschaft m.b.H was a German car brand established in 1905, which in 1914 was merged with Norddeutsche Automobil und Motoren AG (NAMAG) into Hansa-Lloyd-Werke A.G.. From 1929 to 1931 it was taken over by the Borgward group. Hansa was based in the Bremen suburb of Hastedt.
The Hansa automotive company had been established as a car and truck makers since 1905. During the Great Depression in 1929, Hansa-Lloyd was bought by Carl F. W. Borgward as the factory was conveniently located opposite to his own Goliath factory on Föhrenstrasse in Bremen-Hastedt. The range of trucks of Hansa-Lloyd was complementing the Goliath range, and the purchase allowed Carl Borgward to fulfill his dream to produce his own cars.
Carl Borgward stopped Hansa-Lloyd's production of luxury cars, but continued its line of trucks until 1937. From 1933 onwards the brand name Hansa became the name of several Borgward passenger car models. The Hansa Konsul and Hansa Matador were introduced and shortly thereafter the small rear-engined Hansa 400 and 500.
The Hansa was a Swedish passenger ship, in use on the route between the Swedish mainland and Visby. She was torpedoed and sunk by a Soviet submarine in 1944, during World War II.

In addition to sailing between the mainland and Visby, she also called at a number of other ports such as Danzig, Tallinn and Riga, during the 1930s.
On 24 November 1944, the Hansa was torpedoed and sunk between Nynäshamn and Visby by a Soviet submarine. At 05:57 a torpedo caused a large explosion, and the ship sank within a few minutes. 84 people died and two survived. The two survivors were rescued by the Swedish minesweepers Landsort and Arholma. Investigations after the war pointed to the Soviet submarine L21 as being responsible for the sinking.

The 8X300 is a microprocessor produced and marketed by Signetics starting 1976 as a second source for the SMS 300 by Scientific Micro Systems, Inc.
Although SMS developed the SMS 300 / 8X300 products, Signetics was the sole manufacturer of this product line. In 1978 Signetics purchased the rights to the SMS300 series and renamed the SMS300 to 8X300
It was designed to be a fast microcontroller and signal processor, and because of this differs considerably from conventional NMOS logic microprocessors of the time. Perhaps the major difference was that it was implemented with bipolar Schottky transistor technology, and could fetch, decode and execute an instruction in only 250 ns. Data could be input from one device, modified, and output to another device during one instruction cycle.
In 1982, Signetics released an improved and faster version, the 8X305. This processor went on to become very popular in military applications and was second-sourced by Advanced Micro Devices as the AM29X305. Eventually, production rights were sold to Lansdale Semiconductor Inc., who still offers the 8X305 to this day.
SMS is another Ukrainian female pop-music band that added some competition to the already existing Nu Virgos. It was formed in 2004 by Oleksandr Yaremenko who had an intention to make a quartet similar to Nu Virgos, however, during his search for the necessary talents he decided to make a trio-group. The group performs in both the Ukrainian as well as the Russian languages. The trio performs in the musical theme of the 80s.
The group was created in 2004 and initially consisted of Marina Modina, Tatiana Golubkina, and Lana Merkulova who simply stunned the audience not only within Ukraine, but also the Russian Federation with their music video Lyuby, kokhai mene (Love me, honey) which particularly spiced things up by being performed in the Ukrainian language.
In 2007, Merkulova was replaced by the 18-year-old Aleksandra Marchenko with whom the band filmed two videos ("Uroky erotiki" and "Posledniy Raz"). In 2008, there were some intentions to recruit a former Playboy playmate Irina Olkhovskaya. In 2009, Marchenko and Golubkina left the group, and the band was in search for the new talents for some time. The new band was composed out of a brunette and the loyal performer of the group Marina to whom were added a red-haired Veronika and a blond Anastasia.
