Shyness (also called diffidence) is the feeling of apprehension, lack of comfort, or awkwardness especially when a person is in proximity to other people. This commonly occurs in new situations or with unfamiliar people. Shyness can be a characteristic of people who have low self-esteem. Stronger forms of shyness are usually referred to as social anxiety or social phobia.
The primary defining characteristic of shyness is a largely ego-driven fear of what other people will think of a person's behavior. This results in a person becoming scared of doing or saying what he or she wants to out of fear of negative reactions, being laughed at or humiliated, criticism, and/or rejection. A shy person may simply opt to avoid social situations instead.
One important aspect of shyness is social skills development. Schools and parents may implicitly assume children are fully capable of effective social interaction. Social skills training is not given any priority (unlike reading and writing) and as a result, shy students are not given an opportunity to develop their ability to participate in class and interact with peers. Teachers can model social skills and ask questions in a less direct and intimidating manner in order to gently encourage shy students to speak up in class, and make friends with other children.
In computing and typesetting, a soft hyphen (ISO 8859: 0xAD, Unicode U+00AD SOFT HYPHEN, HTML: ) or syllable hyphen (EBCDIC: 0xCA), abbreviated SHY, is a code point reserved in some coded character sets for the purpose of breaking words across lines by inserting visible hyphens. Two alternative ways of using the soft-hyphen character for this purpose have emerged, depending on whether the encoded text will be broken into lines by its recipient, or has already been preformatted by its originator.
The use of SHY characters in text that will be broken into lines by the recipient is the application context considered by the post-1999 HTML and Unicode specifications, as well as some word-processing file formats. In this context, the soft hyphen may also be called a discretionary hyphen or optional hyphen. It serves as an invisible marker used to specify a place in text where a hyphenated break is allowed without forcing a line break in an inconvenient place if the text is re-flowed. It becomes visible only after word wrapping at the end of a line. The soft hyphen's Unicode semantics and HTML implementation are in many ways similar to Unicode's zero-width space.
Shy is the adjective describing a person who demonstrates shyness.

Doctorandus (Dutch pronunciation: [dɔktoːˈrɑndʏs]; Latin: he who should become a doctor), abbreviated drs., is a Dutch academic title according to the pre-Bachelor–Master system. The female form is 'doctoranda' (abbreviated dra., though this abbreviation is no longer used). The title is acquired by passing the doctoraalexamen, traditionally a matriculation exam for admission to study at doctoral level. In most cases this concludes university study, but occasionally students will continue to do research under the supervision of a professor, which eventually allows them to obtain the title of doctor.
According to Dutch legislation, the Dutch doctorandus degree is equivalent to the MA or MSc degree in English-speaking countries, with the difference that the coursework and comprehensive exams for a doctorate are included in the academic study. After being graduated to "drs.", the candidate can start with PhD-level research and writing the dissertation without any further exams. A colloquial term for such degree would be all but dissertation.
The Umpire Decision Review System (abbreviated as UDRS or DRS) is a technology-based system used in the sport of cricket. The system was first introduced in Test cricket, for the sole purpose of reviewing controversial decisions made by the on-field umpires as to whether or not a batsman had been dismissed. The system was first tested in an India v Sri Lanka match in 2008. The system was officially launched by the International Cricket Council ("ICC") on 24 November 2009 during the first Test match between New Zealand and Pakistan at the University Oval in Dunedin. It was first used in One Day Internationals in January 2011, during England's tour of Australia. The ICC initially made the UDRS mandatory in all international matches, but later made its use optional, so that the system would only be used if both teams agree. The ICC has agreed to continue to work on the technology and will try to incorporate its use into all ICC events.
On 29 October 2012, the International Cricket Council made amendments on LBW protocols, increasing the margin of uncertainty when the ball hits the batsman's pad.
Oh, Bobby, why do you treat me so bad?
You know I love you
But why do some it wasn't me?
But why do some in front of me?
Oh, baby, baby, you was acting so shady
I thought that you were sticking me
Another girl, you're tricking me
I gotta go 'cause I thought that I was yo' baby
But why do some it wasn't me?
But why do some in front of me?
Oh, baby, baby, you was acting so crazy
I thought that you were sticking me
Another girl, you're tricking me
I gotta go 'cause I thought that you were my baby
Girl, you can't trick me nor can you stick me
You try to play slickly, said you strictly dickly
But you and your friends, you play the licky licky
I figured it out when I caught that hickey
Between yo' legs with yo' chocolate slippy
Now Bob busy, gotta taught you like Frisbee
Out the window, off and away you go
Ain't got no time and no love for hoes, fuck
How many project sluts wanna nut or get touched?
And ramped up in the back of my truck
Or to eat the Benz up when yo' girlfriend would
Have her knees to her ears so I can slip in good
Bobby now walk the block with black hoody hat
Dog on the prowl upon to snatch the little putty cat
Red Red Riding Hood and I'm the Big Woof
'Bout to puff off these pistols like I'm George Bush
And push, push through your power U
Goosh, goosh explode my load
Have it running down your toosh, toosh
Now you speaking the round like a crook, crook
Trying to look inside my phone book, book
'Bout to loose it all, girl, you shook, shook
It ain't my fault that your love got jooks, jooks
It ain't my fault that your love got jooks, jooks
It ain't my fault that your love got jooks
But why do some it wasn't me?
But why do some in front of me?
Oh, baby, baby, you was acting so shady
I thought that you were sticking me
Another girl, you're tricking me
I gotta go 'cause I thought that I was yo' baby
But why do some it wasn't me?
But why do some in front of me?
Oh, baby, baby, you was acting so crazy
I thought that you were sticking me
Another girl, you're tricking me
I gotta go 'cause I thought that you were my, baby
C'mon man, save it, go ahead with that, boo
Oh, you take me for a fool, I shit my sister for you
Claim on sneaking, sleeping, creeping, cheating, you bugging, yo
Listening to yo' cousin now because she a lonely hoe
Siffle fickle minded dizzy trying to insult I
Now you wanna go and turn around and to ask why
Peace be out bounce, spread yo' wings fly
Me loud, c'mon, how? That ain't God's style
C'mon man, you don't know me by now?
Three years in, I should've messed around but somehow
I kept it real, girl, I was ya nigga until
Ya switched the whole current and if that's how you feel
Be out, be out, yo, be the fuck out
But why do some it wasn't me?
But why do some in front of me?
Oh, baby, baby, you was acting so shady
I thought that you were sticking me
Another girl, you're tricking me
I gotta go 'cause I thought that I was yo' baby
But why do some it wasn't me?
