SD (rapper)

Sadiki Thirston (born November 7, 1994), better known by his stage name, SD, is an American rapper from Chicago, Illinois. He was a member of Glory Boyz Entertainment. His mixtape Life Of A Savage has over 52,000 downloads on DatPiff. In 2014, he released his debut studio album called, Truly Blessed.

Early life

SD grew up listening to Eminem, 50 Cent, Gucci Mane and Cam'ron. He grew up as a member of the Black Disciples street gang set Black Gate on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois.

Musical career

2012–15: Life Of A Savage mixtapes

On June 18, 2012, SD released his debut mixtape titled Life Of A Savage. The mixtape features appearances by fellow Chicago rappers Chief Keef, Fredo Santana, King L and Lil Reese. The mixtape's production was handled by Young Chop, 12 Hunna, and C-Sick. Since the mixtape's release, it has gone on to receive 47,000 downloads on DatPiff. On November 16, 2012, SD released his second mixtape Life Of A Savage 2. The mixtape features appearances by fellow Chicago rappers Chief Keef, Gino Marley and Tray Savage. Along with other rappers like Frenchie, Thirsty and rappers of Fetti Gang. The mixtape's production was mainly handled by 808 Mafia. On July 25, 2013, SD released his third mixtape Life Of A Savage 3. The mixtape features appearances by fellow GBE rappers Ballout, Capo, Tray Savage, Blood Money, Gino Marley and rapper Riff Raff. On November 18, 2014, he released his debut studio album, Truly Blessed, which didn't have any featured artists. SD showed his independence and separation from GBE in this album, but makes it clear that they are and always will be his brothers. On February 19, 2015, SD released Life Of A Savage 4 which featured Gino Marley, Eric Collier, C Rich and Mr. KnockItOff. SD's most recent project was released August 27th, 2015, called "Just The Beginning". With only one feature who was Mr. KnockItOff, this mixtape showed a big difference in SD's music style.
