Adam grew up the son of a single mother and an absent, father in Tensta, Stockholm during the 80's.[2] Despite his upbringing in a neighborhood where violence and crime was the norm[citation needed], Adam Tensta refused to take the path of many of his peers. Instead of delinquency he found sanctuary in music. Artists like Bob Marley and hiphop acts like Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep and Nas became the source of inspiration for his first rhymes.
To honor his roots, Adam took "Tensta" as his artist name.
Adam Tensta excludes alcohol, cigarettes and drugs from his lifestyle. He is a representative for the Save the Children Sweden and an ambassador for Alla Olika Alla Lika, a youth campaign against racism, prejudice and discrimination in Sweden. He is also a socialist, and performed at the Swedish leftist party Vänsterpartiet's 1 May celebration in Stockholm 2010.
Adam Tensta has opened for artists like Jay-Z, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Rihanna, Youssou N’Dour, Akon and Dead Prez.
His song "My Cool" was also featured in the HBO Series Entourage (Season 7, Episode 7). The song was also featured in the video game NBA 2k10. [edit]Current work

Tensta is a district in Spånga-Tensta borough, Stockholm, Sweden. There are about 6,000 apartments in Tensta and a population of 17,083 as of December 31, 2007.
Modern Tensta, with its Plattenbau-style concrete apartment buildings, was constructed in the 1960s. Like nearby Rinkeby and Hjulsta, it was part of the Million Programme, and became known nationwide in the late 1960s. This was partially because lots of people moved in when the area was still a construction site, and it took years before the metro station opened (in 1975).
In the center of Tensta there is a small fruit market. The art gallery Tensta Konsthall is also situated close to the centre and has gained a name in Sweden and abroad.
Tensta has a large concentration of immigrants, high rates of unemployed and people on social welfare. The open unemployment rate is 43.5% (2009) and the rate of people on social welfare is 40.2% (1999). In 1999 the employment rate was 44%.Immigrants make up 66% of the population and 95%-100% of the children in local schools are of foreign origin.
Adam is a common masculine given name.
The personal name Adam derives from the Hebrew noun ha adamah meaning "the ground" or "earth". It is still a Hebrew given name, and its Quranic and Biblical usage has ensured that it is also a common name in all countries which draw on these traditions. It is particularly common in Christian- and Muslim-majority countries. In most languages its spelling is the same, although the pronunciation varies somewhat. Adán is the Spanish form of this name.
Adam is also a surname in many countries, although it is not as common in English as its derivative Adams (sometimes spelled Addams). In other languages there are similar surnames derived from Adam, such as Adamo, Adamov, Adamowicz, Adamski etc.
In Arabic, Adam (آدم) means "made from the earth/mud/clay".
Adam is a fictional character; from the Ravenloft campaign setting for the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game.
Adam was a major character in the 1994 novel, Mordenheim, written by Chet Williamson.
Adam is the darklord of Lamordia. Known as Mordenheim's Monster or the Creature, he is an extremely intelligent and nimble dread flesh golem, based on Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Adam is the most successful creation of Dr. Victor Mordenheim in his research into the creation of life, albeit the one that causes him grief unmeasured. Adam reduced the doctor's wife Elise to a vegetative state and apparently murdered their adopted daughter Eva.
The two are inextricably bound together: Dr. Mordenheim has Adam's immortality, and in return Adam shares the doctor's anguish.
Usually hidden from sight, Adam is believed to spend most of his time on the Isle of Agony, part of the archipelago known as the Finger.
"Adam" is the fifth episode of the second series of British science fiction television series Torchwood, which was broadcast by BBC Two on 13 February 2008.
Torchwood encounter an alien, Adam, who has the ability of memory manipulation. By implanting false memories into each team member, making them believe they have known him for three years, Adam's manipulation changes the team dramatically: Gwen loses all memory of Rhys, Jack is haunted by memories of his lost brother Gray, from whom he was separated as a child on the Boeshane Peninsula, Toshiko has become more confident and believes that she and Adam are in love, and Owen has been manipulated into thinking he is more or less a geek in comparison to his actual self, and madly in love with Toshiko.
After reading his diary, Ianto becomes disturbed when he notices there is no mention of Adam. Adam confronts him and implants false memories into Ianto’s mind, leading Ianto to believe he is a serial killer. Jack returns to find Ianto deeply upset but refuses to believe that Ianto is a killer. The pair search Torchwood's files, discovering the truth after seeing footage of Adam implanting the memories into the team. Jack discovers that the team needs to take amnesia pills, to erase their memories of the past forty-eight hours. He gathers the team and asks each person to try to recall who they really are. Each member takes their pill, Owen looking at Tosh and giving a small smile.

S&T was founded by Thomas Streimelweger and Karl Tantscher in 1993. The company started up in Slovakia, Bulgaria and Ukraine and other branches were established over the next few years in Romania, Moldova and Yugoslavia. In the early years, S&T specialized in the sale of IT hardware and software, as a Full Function Distributor for Hewlett Packard but they turned their focus to IT consulting and services from the year 2000.

So I tell them Fuck yoo're dress for, Who i'm suppos to pull my pants up fo?
They wanna know, keep askin' me questions,

When they don't even know me, so stop your questions homie
[chorus]
Th-Th- they thay wanna know
Who-who-who who wanna know?
You-you-you you wanna know

They wanna know why I'm blowing my fuel,
losing my temper, losing my cool
So I tell them i just do what I do,

They wanna know why I can't take orders,
listen to the boss when I work in here
So I tell them: are you fucking with me?
I'm just trying to work in here
They wanna know what we do when we're in the crib
If we tokin' , tokin'
So I tell'em : I don't know why you're askin'
Do it look like I've been smokin'?
They wanna know if I know somebody, that know somebody,
that know some drugs.
So I tell Them how to fuck with you.
Do I look like I sell drugs? Niggah!
[chorus]
Th-Th- they thay wanna know

Why you wanna know about me huh?

Why you wanna know about me hu?
You don't know me why should you care
Stop askin' questions man
