This is a list of fictional characters that appear in the Italian animated TV series Winx Club. The series follows the adventures of a group of girls who are enrolled at the Alfea School of Fairies. Supporting the girls are teachers and other staff from the school, a group of boys from Red Fountain School of Specialists, and the Witches of Cloud Tower The club faces adversity from the Trix, Lord Darkar, Ancestral Witches and other villains.
The titular club is a group of students at the Alfea School of Fairies in Magix. The club was formed by Bloome, a student from Earth who discovers she has fairy powers, and Stella, who introduces her to the Magic Dimension and gets her enrolled at Alfea. The original group includes Flora, Musea, and Tecna, and they share an apartment on campus. Starting in season 2, Aisha (also known as Layla) joins the group after escaping from Lord Darkar.
Bloome is the Fairy of the Dragon Flame. She has fair skin tone, red waist-length hair and cyan blue eyes. Season 2 of Winx Club an Italian animated series, premiered on Rai 2 on 19 April 2005 and concluded on 14 July 2005, airing 26 episodes. The season follows the girls' second year at Alfea School of Fairies, where they strive to earn an enhancement to their powers called Charmix. Aisha (known as Layla in the 4Kids and Rai English versions), a strong princess and the Fairy of Waves, joins the group of girls. They also bond with a group of pixies. Meanwhile, the Trix have allied with a new villain, Lord Darkar.
The series has been broadcast to countries worldwide, with Rai providing an English-language dub. The Cinelume / Rai English dub was also used as an alternate English language track on several European DVD releases and on streaming services such as Netflix. In the United States, the show was re-dubbed and edited by 4Kids TV. Season 2 premiered on Fox under the programming block 4Kids TV on 10 September 2005, and concluded on 11 March 2006. The episodes have been made available on home media by Funimation.
The sixth season of Winx Club, known on Nickelodeon as Winx Club: Bloomix, focuses mainly on the Trix allying with Selina, a young witch from Earth who has just enrolled at Cloud Tower as a freshman student, and who is an old childhood best friend of Bloom's. The Winx must earn two new fairy transformations: Bloomix (which is derived from Bloom's almighty Dragon Fire powers), and Mythix to lock the Legendarium book once and for all. In order to do so, they must also find Eldora, the fairy godmother, who, like Bloom, has quite a close connection with Selina, and the only one who knows how to seal the Legendarium for eternity.
The sixth season had first premiered in the United States on September 29, 2013 with the first episode "Inspiration of Sirenix". This season is formatted in HD and partially in 2D hand-drawn animation and 3D computer animation as with the fifth season. The song The Way of Sirenix, which used in first episode, Nickelback covered song, called the song Space Children, but words about five heroes instead words about faires and magic, the song used in another animated series Galaxy World of Alisa, ending theme of episode The Crazy Software.
Winx Club Special is a One-Hour Special of Winx Club. The world premiere was on June 27, 2011 in United States and Italy by Nickelodeon and Rai Due. It contains the same footage but with different elements.
Meet Bloom, an ordinary girl, with an ordinary life and an ordinary parents, until a trip to the park, she discovers a girl (Stella) fighting an ogre, finding that she's a fairy and saves her with her powers. But Stella faints and takes her home. Bloom discovers she's a fairy, in that the troll a troll comes to the house and they have to defend themselves, and for help, Stella calls to specialists, a group of young warriors. Bloom discovering she's a fairy, it is proposed to go to Alfea College for Fairies with Stella. There she meets other fairies, Flora, Tecna and Musa. But unfortunately, three evil witches who call themselves the Trix. Time after arriving at Alfea, Bloom makes a test in a simulator, and she transformed into fairy.
Season 3 of Winx Club an Italian animated series, premiered on Rai 2 on 29 January 2007 and concluded on 28 March 2007, airing 26 episodes. The season focuses on the girls adventures in their third year at Alfea School of Fairies, where they strive to earn an enhancement to their powers called Enchantix. The Trix escape from their prison and bring back a new villain named Valtor, who has a special connection with Bloom.
The series has been broadcast or syndicated to countries worldwide, with Rai providing an English language dub. In the United States, the show was re-dubbed and edited by 4Kids TV. Season 3 premiered on Fox under the 4Kids TV programming block on 30 September 2006, and concluded on 22 September 2007. Nickelodeon produced their own English localization of the season under the title Winx Club: Enchantix, which ran on their titular channel from 14 November 2011 to 26 December 2011. The episodes have also been made available on home media.
Season 4 of Winx Club an Italian animated series, premiered on Rai 2 on 15 April 2009 and concluded on 13 November 2009, airing 26 episodes. The season takes place a year after the events of season 3 and the feature film Winx Club: The Secret of the Lost Kingdom. The girls travel to Earth to protect its last terrestrial fairy from the four Wizards of the Black Circle. They also evolve their magic powers to the Believix.
