Roxus were an Australian AOR band which existed between 1987 and 1994. Members included Juno Roxas - lead vocals, Dragan Stanić - guitar, Darren Danielson - drums, John 'Stones' Nixon - bass guitar and Andy Shanahan - keyboards. Their style used melodic keyboards with guitar-driven hard rock and elements of glam metal. Their debut album, Nightstreet (September 1991),produced by Mark Opitz (The Angels, AC/DC. Divinyls, Cold Chisel), peaked at No. 5 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Their most successful single, "Where Are You Now?" (writers - Juno Roxas, Robin Randall, Judithe Randall) (July 1991), reached No. 13 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
In 1992, American AOR maestro Jeff Paris was hired to produce what was to be Roxus' second LP. Recorded at Platinum recorders in Melbourne Australia, the sessions engendered 4 tracks-"Invisible Man", "What You Don't Know", "Stop Playin' With My Heart" and "All The Way". These dates were cut short by and large due to the unanimous decision to replace Danielson with a drum machine after time restrictions became an issue, with Danielson unable to provide adequate rhythm tracks.
ride the blue wind high and free
she'll lead you down to misery
leave you low come time to go
alone and low as low can be
if I had a nickle I'd find a game
if I won a dollar I'd make it rain
if it rained an ocean I'd drink it dry
and lay me down dissatisfied
tell my sister I said so long
tell my mother I did no wrong
tell my brother to watch his own
tell my friends to mourn me none
legs to walk and thoughts to fly
eyes to laugh and lips to cry
a restless tongue to classify
all born to grow and grown to die
chained across the face of time
feeling full of foolish rhyme
there aint no dark 'til something shines
I'm bound to leave this dark behind
ride the blue wind high and free
she'll lead you down to misery
leave you low come time to go
