Rough (film)

Rough is a 2014 Telugu film directed by C. H. Subba Reddy. The movie is produced by M. Abilash on Sridevi Entertainments Banner while Aadi, Rakul Preet Singh and Srihari play pivotal roles. Mani Sharma composed the Music.Actor Srihari died before the film was released. The film received mixed reviews from critics and turned out to average hit at the box office.

Music

The film soundtrack and background music were composed by Mani Sharma. The soundtrack consists of 7 songs; all of their lyrics were penned by Bhaskarabhatla. Narendra, Karunya, Pavan Charan, Hemachandra, Simha, Sravana Bhargavi and Sudhamayi were the playback singers. The soundtrack was marketed by Junglee Music. The album cover depicts the lead pair from one of the film's songs. The soundtrack was unveiled on 3 November 2014 at JRC Function Hall in Hyderabad. Suriya attended the event as the chief guest while Rana Daggubati, Nithiin and Allari Naresh in attendance along with the film's principal cast & crew.

Edge (educational foundation)

Edge Foundation, commonly referred to as 'Edge', is an independent education foundation, dedicated to raising the status of practical and vocational learning in the UK. Its aim is for young people to have the opportunity to achieve their potential, to ensure that the UK’s future workforce is equipped with the skills to succeed.

Edge believes that there are many paths to success. They think that vocational and practical education should be valued just as highly as academic choices. To make this happen, they run campaigns and projects that challenge academic snobbery, stimulate demand for practical learning, and supply innovative learning opportunities.

Aims

As well as a better public perception of practical learning, Edge would like to see fundamental changes in the UK education system, including better careers guidance, more opportunities for practical and work-based learning, more employer engagement and an overhaul of teacher training, especially in practical subjects.

Edge (video game)

Edge (also known as Edgy or Edge by Mobigame) is a puzzle game developed by Mobigame for the iOS devices. Originally released on the iTunes App Store in December 2008, it has been removed and re-added to the store multiple times due to a trademark dispute with Tim Langdell of Edge Games, concerning the use of the word "Edge" in the title. The game was released on PlayStation Minis in Europe and Australia on December 2, 2010 and September 20, 2011 in North America. The game was released on Steam on August 11, 2011 and on Android along with Edge Extended on January 31, 2012, as part of the first Android Humble Indie Bundle, followed by a release on Wii U on November 21, 2013. Edge was also released for the Nintendo 3DS on December 26, 2013.

Gameplay

The gameplay involves guiding a cube around 48 levels (the three last levels have to be unlocked by taking all the prisms in the 45 previous levels) collecting coloured prisms by dragging the finger across a touch screen (or using analogue controls on PC and Wii U), taking care not to fall off the paths. By dragging hard enough, the player can make the cube climb over steps. By balancing the cube along the edge of a wall or space, players can hang across certain edges in order to cross large gaps. In addition to dragging, the game can be controlled by on-screen keys or the iPhone's tilt-sensing accellerometer. Certain areas will cause the cube to shrink, allowing it to fit into smaller gaps and climb up walls. Collecting all prisms in a level and clearing it quickly earns players an S rank.

"Shade" is a song by Australian alternative rock band Silverchair. It was released as the fourth single from their debut album, Frogstomp, in 1995. It was the group's only single not chosen to be on their compilation album The Best of Volume 1.

Summary

Great war

The great war between the birds and the beasts happened approximately 65 million years before the story (at the end of the dinosaurs). The bats, seeing themselves as being both, but neither, refrained from fighting. At the end of the war, the two warring factions banished the bats. They could not see the sun again because they refrained. The war is based upon a fable by Aesop called "The Birds, the Beasts and the Bat."

Tints and shades

In color theory, a tint is the mixture of a color with white, which increases lightness, and a shade is the mixture of a color with black, which reduces lightness. A tone is produced either by the mixture of a color with gray, or by both tinting and shading. Mixing a color with any neutral color (including black, gray and white) reduces the chroma, or colorfulness, while the hue remains unchanged.

In common language, the term "shade" can be generalized to furthermore encompass any varieties of a particular color, whether technically they are shades, tints, tones, or slightly different hues; while the term "tint" can be generalized to refer to the any lighter or darker variation of a color (e.g. Tinted windows).

When mixing colored light (additive color models), the achromatic mixture of spectrally balanced red, green and blue (RGB) is always white, not gray or black. When we mix colorants, such as the pigments in paint mixtures, a color is produced which is always darker and lower in chroma, or saturation, than the parent colors. This moves the mixed color toward a neutral color—a gray or near-black. Lights are made brighter or dimmer by adjusting their brightness, or energy level; in painting, lightness is adjusted through mixture with white, black or a color's complement.
