United States House of Representatives elections in Louisiana, 2010

Elections were held on November 2, 2010 to determine Louisiana's seven members of the United States House of Representatives. Representatives were elected for two-year terms to serve in the 112th United States Congress from January 3, 2011 until January 3, 2013. Primary elections were held on August 28, 2010, and a runoff election for the Republican Party nomination in the 3rd district took place on October 2, 2010.

Of the seven elections, the 2nd district was rated as competitive by CQ Politics and the 2nd and 3rd districts were rated as competitive by The Cook Political Report,The Rothenberg Political Report and Sabato's Crystal Ball. Five of Louisiana's seven incumbents (Republicans Steve Scalise of the 1st district, John Fleming of the 4th district, Rodney Alexander of the 5th district, Bill Cassidy of the 6th district and Charles Boustany of the 7th district) were re-elected. Of the two who were not re-elected, one (Democrat Joseph Cao of the 2nd district) unsuccessfully sought re-election, and one (Democrat Charlie Melancon of the 3rd district) ran for the U.S. Senate instead of seeking re-election.

In the 1830s, pioneers began to settle the area in central Austin along the Colorado River. After Republic of Texas Vice President Mirabeau B. Lamar visited the area during a buffalo-hunting expedition between 1837 and 1838, he proposed that the republic's capital, then located in Houston, be relocated to the area situated on the north bank of the Colorado River near the present-day Congress Avenue Bridge. In 1839, the site was officially chosen as the republic's new capital (the republic's seventh and final location) and was incorporated under the name Waterloo. Shortly thereafter, the name was changed to Austin in honor of Stephen F. Austin, the "Father of Texas" and the republic's first secretary of state.

The Backyardigans is a Canadian–American CGI-animated musical TV series created by Janice Burgess, It is a co-production of animation studio Nelvana and Nickelodeon Animation Studios. The series debuted on October 11, 2004 and ended on May 31, 2010; reruns of The Backyardigans continued to air on the Nickelodeon family of channels in the United States until 2015. The show airs on Treehouse TV in Canada. In 2015, the first season was included as part of Nickelodeon's Noggin app, a mobile application featuring episodes of older Nick Jr. programs.

Ron, stage name of Rosalino Cellamare (born August 13, 1953) is an Italian singer-songwriter and musician.

Born in Dorno, province of Pavia, he debuted under his true name at the 1970 edition of the Sanremo Festival, together with Nada. In the following years he distinguished as songwriter for Lucio Dalla and others.

After a period as actor, he returned collaborating with Dalla and De Gregori in their Banana Republic tour of 1979, and issuing the LPs Una città per cantare (1980) and Anima (1982). These were followed by Joe Temerario (1984) and Il mondo avrà una grande anima (1988).

Una città per cantare is an Italian cover of The Road, song Danny O'Keefe; Italian lyrics are written by Lucio Dalla.

In 1996 he won the San Remo festival with "Vorrei incontrarti fra cent'anni", sung in duo with Tosca.
