Romi Mayes is a Canadian born musician. Romi Mayes was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and began performing on stage at the age of 15 years, and touring throughout the US and the UK.

Romi Mayes has recently been awarded Song Writer of the Year and Album of the Year at the 2007 Western Canadian Music Awards and has had various other nominations for her latest albums, "Living Room Sessions" (2005) and "Sweet Somethin' Steady" (2006).
