Damone (band)

Damone was an American rock band with distinct elements from power pop in their sound. The band originated in Waltham, a city located just west of Boston, Massachusetts, and consisted of Noelle (vocals/guitar), Mike Woods (guitar), Vazquez (bass guitar) and Dustin Hengst (drums).

History

The band was formed by Dave Pino, guitarist for the rock band Waltham and then-teenage singer/guitarist Noelle LeBlanc who later formed The Organ Beats. The band was originally known as "Noelle", and released an album called "This Summer" under that name, which was later re-recorded under the name From the Attic

Damone released their first album, From The Attic, on RCA in 2003. Original lead guitarist Dave Pino left the band some time in 2004, being replaced by Mike Woods from Boston. Pino is now a member of Powerman 5000.

While working on new material, the band was dropped from its label after requesting to be released. They were quickly picked up by Island Records.

Roll the Dice (band)

Roll The Dice (band) is an analogue electronic duo from Stockholm, Sweden signed to The Leaf Label. A self-titled debut album was released in 2010 on Digitalis Recordings and a second full length is released in 2011.

The band is composed of Peder Mannerfelt and Malcolm Pardon. Mannerfelt, also known as The Subliminal Kid, produces and performs live with Fever Ray. Pardon was a member of Kinky Machine in the early 90s but left the band when he emigrated to Sweden to pursue a career in TV and film composition.

    PLAYLIST TIME:

    Roll The Dice

    by: Engel

Every time you stare at me, you need to step aside
You've got to run another way and just leave me be
You still act so very strange
    You made it to yourself
You need to find someone else to point your finger at
I'm feeling strong, I'm feeling fine
And I will try to stay this way
So realize you've got to roll the dice
    And choose another game
Stand me closer to the fire
Leave me burning in these flames
You've got to go and find another
Leave me here so I can burn
Look inside and then you will find where the problem lies
    Stop dragging me in misery
I won't go down like that
I am walking tall and still I will keep my head up high
So you can try to break my pride
    But be prepared to fail
    I'm feeling strong
    I'm feeling fine
And I will try to stay this way
So realize you've got to roll the dice
    And choose another game
Stand me closer to the fire
Leave me burning in these flames
You've got to go and find another
