Roggliswil is a municipality in the district of Willisau in the canton of Lucerne in Switzerland.
Roggliswil has an area, as of 2006, of 6.2 km2 (2.4 sq mi). Of this area, 66% is used for agricultural purposes, while 27.6% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 6.1% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (0.3%) is non-productive rivers.In the 1997 land survey, 27.49% of the total land area was forested. Of the agricultural land, 61.09% is used for farming or pastures, while 4.98% is used for orchards or vine crops. Of the settled areas, 2.89% is covered with buildings, 0.32% is industrial, 0.16% is classed as special developments, and 2.73% is transportation infrastructure.
Roggliswil has a population (as of 31 December 2014) of 647.As of 2007, 16 or about 2.5% are not Swiss citizens. Over the last 10 years the population has decreased at a rate of -1.8%. Most of the population (as of 2000) speaks German (96.3%), with Albanian being second most common ( 2.0%) and French being third ( 0.6%).
