Marquese Scott

Marquese Scott (born November 5, 1981) is an American Popping dancer. His work has been seen in music videos that he creates, TV shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show, advertisements, and live performances at award shows. He has signed with XCel Talent Agency and is part of the dance crew Dragon House. His YouTube channel is WHZGUD2, which includes many dances. His dance videos include Higher, Set Fire To The Rain, Wake Me Up, Fresh, Hanging On, and his most popular, Pumped Up Kicks.

Life and career

Non-Stop (film)

Non-Stop is a 2014 mystery-action thriller film starring Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore, Michelle Dockery, Lupita Nyong'o and Scoot McNairy and directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. This is the first Silver Pictures film to be distributed by Universal Pictures after the end of the production company's deal with Warner Bros., and the first since Weird Science. The film received mixed to positive reviews from critics and was a box office success.

Plot

An alcoholic air marshal named Bill Marks boards a Boeing 767 non-stop flight from New York City to London. He sits next to passenger Jen Summers with whom he engages in friendly conversations. After take-off, he receives a text message on his secure phone stating that someone will die every 20 minutes unless $150 million is transferred to a specific bank account. Marks breaks protocol and consults with Jack Hammond, the other air marshal, who concludes that the threat is not valid. Marks, however, enlists the help of Summers and flight attendant Nancy to monitor the security cameras while texting the mysterious person in order to locate him. However, Hammond is texted by the unknown person who says that he knows what is in Hammond's briefcase. As Marks confronts Hammond in the rear lavatory, the latter is revealed to be smuggling cocaine in a brief-case. Hammond attacks Marks, who responds in self-defense and breaks Hammond's neck. This incident happens exactly at the 20-minute mark.

Nonstop (band)

Nonstop was a Portuguese girl band, created out of the TV reality-competition show Popstars, in 2001. Nonstop have achieved notable success with their first album, Nonstop, and especially with their first hit single "Ao Limite Eu Vou".

Songwriter and producer, Eliot Kennedy - who had previously worked with bands such as Spice Girls and Take That - once said "they are probably the best group I have worked with. Their voices are so good!"

Formation

In 2001 the dream catcher reality-show Popstars was launched in Portugal by the television station SIC with the aim of creating a five-piece girl band.

More than one thousand and two hundred girls attended auditions in the cities of Porto, Algarve and Lisbon, hoping for a place in the group.

While running the auditions in Algarve, Liliana Almeida wasn't accept to the casting for not being yet eighteen; she would eventually go to Lisbon for the last day of auditions and make it to the second round (comically, that day was the day of her eighteenth birthday).

Rock (rapper)

Jamal Bush (born November 4, 1975), better known by his stage name Rock (or Big Rock, or alternatively The Rockness Monstah), is an American rapper, famous as a member of hip hop collective Boot Camp Clik and the duo Heltah Skeltah along with Sean Price. He is known for his deep, grimy voice and having a sophisticated and rugged flow.

After releasing two albums with Heltah Skeltah, Nocturnal and Magnum Force, Rock left Duck Down Records and pursued a solo career. He signed to DJ Lethal's Lethal Records and recorded a solo album titled Planet Rock, which was never released after the label folded. He didn't make an appearance on the Clik's 2002 group album The Chosen Few, being the only member of the "Great 8" not to appear.

He made his official return to Duck Down in 2005, making appearances on Sean Price's Monkey Barz album and Smif-N-Wessun's Smif 'N' Wessun: Reloaded album. He's performed songs for a variety of video games including "I Am Rock" for Need for Speed: Most Wanted, "This Is Me" for Blitz The League II and "I Am Rock" for NFL Street 2. He and the Boot Camp released their third group album, The Last Stand, on July 18, 2006.

Overall conception and development

The Soul series is a weapon-based fighting game franchise developed by Namco Bandai's Project Soul division and consists of eight games: Soul Edge, Soulcalibur, Soulcalibur II, Soulcalibur III, Soulcalibur Legends, Soulcalibur IV, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny and Soulcalibur V. Set in the 16th century, the plot of the games revolve around Soul Edge, a cursed sword able to possess its wielder and devour souls. Its sprit is called Inferno, and his avatar/host is called Nightmare. Soul Calibur, a holy sword and Soul Edge's antithesis, also has a spirit called Elysium.

Characters

With each character, their weapon was decided upon before other aspects were. The design was then built to revolve around it, starting with gender, then physical measurements, and lastly background details. Once established, appearance and movement were fleshed out by the team's concept artist and rendered as a 3D model by a design team that worked solely on the character. The completed model was then animated by a motion capture artist working directly with the team. During this phase the team additionally worked with the story creators, refining the character's own role in the plot as needed throughout development. In the course of the series, two characters have been an exception to the process: Johan Druer, a berserker exclusive to the Soulcalibur Japanese player's guide, and Necrid, a character co-produced with Todd McFarlane that appears in Soulcalibur II.
