One Perfect Day is an Australian film released in 2004.
The central character of the film is Tommy Matisse; his name combines the title of The Who's 1969 rock opera Tommy and the last name of twentieth century French painter Henri Matisse.
Tommy is a Melbourne boy studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He is a violinist and composer who hears music in unusual sources such as the ambient noises of a train in the London Underground or the chirping of crickets. He is a rebel against the traditions of classical music and displays this by bringing a homeless woman living in the Underground on stage for a concert.
A sympathetic professor decides that he is the type of innovative artist needed to revive a dying opera artform. Having shocked opera's establishment, he returns home to Melbourne on the death of his younger sister Emma, who suffers a fatal overdose after experimenting with drugs at a rave dance party. He discovers a CD of her own mixes and decides to enter the genre of electronic music to follow the path she was pursuing in the hopes of discovering more about his sister and how she became involved in this dance world. Emma's death acts as a catalyst that drives Tommy and his girlfriend Alysse apart. In despair, Alysse falls prey to a sleazy entrepreneur named Hector Lee who owns a club called Trance-Zen-Dance and who is also a drug dealer. Hector Lee has a young assistant called Trig who is a VJ, and is always getting new footage and talent.
"Perfect Day" is a song written by Lou Reed in 1972, originally featured on Transformer, Reed's second post-Velvet Underground solo album, and as the B-side of his major hit, "Walk on the Wild Side". Its fame was given a boost in the 1990s when it was featured in the 1996 film Trainspotting, and after a star-studded version was released as a BBC charity single in 1997, that became the UK's number one single for three weeks. Reed re-recorded the song for his 2003 album The Raven.
A version by Duran Duran reached number 28 on the UK Singles Chart in 1995.
The original recording, like the rest of the Transformer album, was produced by David Bowie and Mick Ronson (who also wrote the string arrangement and played piano on the track).
The song begins in its verse, which is a progression of major triads in descending perfect fifths, starting however on a minor triad. The song then explodes into the chorus, which is written in the parallel major key to the verse.
The following is a list of episodes for the American animated television series Ben 10. The series was created for Cartoon Network by "Man of Action", a group composed of writers Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey, Joe Kelly and Steven T. Seagle.
Perfect Day is a European Lou Reed compilation.

And I've been running in the streets all day
And I've been looking at the stars all night
It got me thinking how can I get away
It got me thinking about a perfect day
And I could tell you something we both know
We can hustle but the streets get cold
And I've been thinking how can I get away
It got me thinking 'bout a perfect day
She got the babysitter watching the kids
She gettin' sexy and her hair all did
She gonna party all her troubles away
She must be thinking 'bout a perfect day
We could be anywhere in the World
But we right here
We gon' be right here
For this perfect day
Got me thinking 'bout a perfect day
My perfect day
No work today
Got me thinking 'bout the breeze when the sun get hot
On a water surface play
Nah no turf today
Told my man throw his work away
I got a fool proof plan
Make a couple of mil
And I think it's gonna work today ay
And I could tell you something we both know
We can hustle but the streets get cold
And i've been thinking how can I get away
It got me thinking about a perfect day
She got the babysitter watching the kids
She gettin' sexy and her hair all did
She gonna party all her troubles away
She must be thinking 'bout a perfect day
We could be anywhere in the world
But we right here
We gon' be right here
For this perfect day
Got me thinking 'bout a perfect day
No gunshots no caskets
No sirens flashing
No V's no police
No handcuffs no rips no lashes
We drunk no crashes
Twist it up no passes
No sticks no skins
No seeds we blowing the finest grasses
And i've been running in the streets all day
And i've been looking at the stars all night
It got me thinking how can I get away
It got me thinking about a perfect day
And I could tell you something we both know
We can hustle but the streets get cold
And i've been thinking how can I get away
It got me thinking 'bout a perfect day
She got the babysitter watching the kids
She gettin' sexy and her hair all did
She gonna party all her troubles away
