Rob Evan
Rob Evan is a singer and actor, best known as a lead performer in numerous Broadway musicals, a performer in national and international tours of musical productions, and a featured vocalist on several music albums.
Personal
Evan, a native of Monticello, Georgia, said in a September 27, 2008 interview
In 1989 he was the first recipient of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame Talent Award. He walked on to the varsity football team as a kicker/punter at the University of Georgia, where he majored in Finance and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in 1990.
Family
He met his future wife while he was working on a cruise ship, as one of four lead singers in a musical review. His future wife, Beate, was working on the ship as a stewardess, and is from Oslo, Norway. Shortly after his time on the ship, he moved to New York City, with Beate, to pursue roles in musicals. Early on during his time in New York City, Evan worked waiting tables at the T.G.I. Friday's restaurant in Times Square. Rob and Beate have three children, named Johan, Max and Birk.
