Charlie Major (born December 31, 1954) is a Canadian country music artist. He has recorded seven studio albums and released more than twenty singles.
Born in Aylmer, Quebec, Charlie Major knew he wanted to be a musician since he was 19 years old. He was blinded in one eye as a result of a pellet gun accident when he was 12. He spent 15 years traveling as far as Spain writing songs and putting country bands together, which eventually led to a record deal with Arista Records. Major released his debut album in Canada, The Other Side, in 1993. All six singles released from the album went to No. 1 on the RPM Country chart.
Through the 1990s, he won the Juno Award as Country Male Vocalist of the Year for two years in a row (Juno Awards in 1994 and 1995). Five major Canadian Country Music Awards followed, along with songwriting honours from SOCAN, and a BMI Award in 1993 for "Backroads", recorded by Ricky Van Shelton in 1991 on his Backroads album, as the “Most Performed Song in America.” In 2006 he made an appearance on the television show "Holmes on Homes."
"Right Here, Right Now" is a song recorded by Canadian country music artist Charlie Major. It was released in 1999 as the first single from his fourth studio album, 444. It peaked at number 8 on the RPM Country Tracks chart in February 2000.

"Right Here, Right Now (My Heart Belongs to You)" is a song originally written by the Swede Jörgen Elofsson for Idol series in Sweden. It became the lead single for Agnes, the winner of Pop Idol 2005 in Sweden, from her 2005 debut album Agnes. The song was later covered by Raffaëla Paton, the winner of Idols 2006 in the Netherlands. Both versions debuted and peaked at #1. The original version by Carlsson held the number one spot in Sweden for six weeks.
A music video was produced to promote the single.

The music video to Raffaëla's Right Here, Right Now contains scenes of the performance of the song on Idols. It also contains images of when Raffaëla was a little girl and when she received her platinum single award.
Right Here, Right Now is a 2002 DVD by Atomic Kitten. The DVD was recorded at Waterfront Hall in Belfast in 2002 during their tour and features the live band "The Phat Cats", and also contains "The Kitten Diaries" which was 48 minute documentary previously aired by Channel 4 made by the girl group themselves consisting of backstage footage during their 2002 United Kingdom tour, rehearsals for shows, and the making of "It's OK!" in South Africa. The diary was mainly shot using handheld cameras.
