"Ride On Time" is a song recorded by Italian dance band Black Box. It was later released on their 1990 debut LP Dreamland. The song was a chart success in many countries and a number-one hit in the UK and Ireland.
The song was written and produced by the Italian production team Groove Groove Melody, consisting of DJ Daniele Davoli, programmer Mirko Limoni and musician Valerio Semplici. The team worked with French model Katrin Quinol, who was the face and image for the group Black Box. In the video and in live performances Quinol lip-synced to the original vocals.
The song sampled Loleatta Holloway's 1980 disco hit "Love Sensation" (written by Dan Hartman) and attracted some controversy for the uncredited use of Holloway's vocals from that song. Holloway's counsel engaged in a press attack on Black Box, successfully securing a settlement that paid the singer an undisclosed sum; the group had legally cleared the samples with Salsoul Records, who had released the original track, but Holloway was in arrears for advances from the label and thus was not recompensed by Salsoul.
"Ride On Time" is MAX's 10th single released under Avex Trax. The title track and its b-side were used as the opening and ending theme songs to the drama "Sweet Devil" which starred the members of MAX as a group of college women who become cursed after using forbidden magic after getting involved in the case of a serial killer. The single debuted in the top 5 of the Oricon chart upon release and is the group's third best selling single.

Ride on Time is the fifth studio album by Japanese singer-songwriter Tatsuro Yamashita, released in September 1980.
Ride on Time has been most well known by its title track. It was used on the television commercial for Maxell's audio cassette starring Yamashita, and released as a single in May 1980. A song became first charting single for him, peaking at the number-three on the Japanese Oricon with sales of 417,000 copies in total. In 2003, the song was featured on the television drama Good Luck!! starring Takuya Kimura, and entered the top-20 on the chart again.
The album was released after the title track became a hit, and gained commercial success subsequently. It topped the Japanese albums chart for a week in October 1980, selling more than 220,000 units while it was entering the chart.
After the album came out, s song "My Sugar Babe" (ode to the band he formerly fronted) was issued as a single. It was featured as a theme song for the television drama Keishi-K starring and directed by Shintaro Katsu and aired on NTV in autumn 1980. Yamashita composed the entire background music used on the unsuccessful TV series. At the time of reissue in 2002, an extract of them (instrumental version of "My Sugar Babe") was additionally included as one of the bonus tracks.
On Time is Grand Funk Railroad's first studio album, released in August 1969 by Capitol Records. It was produced by Terry Knight.
"Time Machine", the band's first single release, barely broke the top 50 in the singles charts, reaching #48, however, after the success of their second album Grand Funk (aka The Red Album), On Time went gold shortly thereafter in 1970, one of four RIAA gold record awards for the band that year. The other two albums reaching gold status in 1970 for GFR were Closer to Home and Live Album.
In 2002, On Time was remastered on CD with bonus tracks and also released in a limited edition box set Trunk of Funk that contained the band's first four albums. The "trunk" has slots for twelve CDs to house the future release of the remaining eight albums that were released by Capitol records. Also included is a pair of "Shinin' On" 3-D glasses, guitar pick and a sticker reproducing a concert ticket.
All songs written by Mark Farner.

"On Time" is a song written by Maurice Gibb and recorded by the Bee Gees released on 14 January 1972 as the B-side of the single "My World".
It was recorded on 21 October 1971 in London, the day that they finished the song "Alive", which is included on their ninth album called To Whom It May Concern. The swamp rocker "On Time" was one of Maurice's favorites, this being the first of three recordings he made of it. Maurice and guitarist Alan Kendall share a few tracks of acoustic and electric guitars, accompanied by Geoff Bridgford on drums and string arrangement by Bill Shepherd that should not fit in, but does. Maurice later described this number as his "Swamp period".
"On Time" was only available on vinyl until it was included in the 1990 box set Tales from the Brothers Gibb. The single was released as a double A in the UK, Mexico, Spain and in Yugoslavia. In Mexico, the song was released under the title "A Tiempo". The song was released in 1971 in other countries like France, Germany and Italy.
