    Ricochet (film)

Ricochet is a 1991 crime-thriller film, directed by Russell Mulcahy and starring Denzel Washington, John Lithgow, Ice-T, Kevin Pollak, and Lindsay Wagner. The film details a struggle between a Los Angeles attorney (Washington) and a vengeful criminal (Lithgow) he arrested and caused to be convicted when he was previously a cop.

    Plot

The film begins in 1983, depicting Nicholas Styles (Denzel Washington), a mild-mannered rookie officer of the Los Angeles Police Department and law student. The young Styles is witnessing the beginning of his career and adult life, as he meets his future wife (Victoria Dillard) and is drifting away from his childhood friend Odessa (Ice-T), who is drifting into a life of crime in South Central Los Angeles, where the two of them grew up.

One evening, while Styles and his partner Larry Doyle (Kevin Pollak) are patrolling a carnival, they intervene and block the escape of a vicious organized-crime hitman, Earl Talbot Blake (John Lithgow), and his servile accomplice Kim (Josh Evans), shortly after Blake has murdered several drug dealers and stole the drug money. Styles catches Blake at gunpoint in the carnival, and is forced into a standoff when Blake takes a hostage at gunpoint, using her as a human shield. Styles manages to get Blake to release the hostage by stripping his equipment and uniform off, demonstrating that he has no other weapons or body armor, before placing his revolver on the ground. He has stripped, however, to gain access to a backup gun hidden in his athletic supporter, which he uses to shoot Blake in the knee, allowing him to take the killer down. The incident is caught by an amateur videographer, and is shown on television, making Styles a local hero and drawing the welcome attention of the Los Angeles County District Attorney (Lindsay Wagner) and a local councilman (John Cothran, Jr.). He and Doyle are immediately promoted to Detective, while Blake is sent to prison.

    Ricochet (wrestler)

Ricochet also wrestles for New Japan Pro Wrestling, where he is one half of the reigning IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions and the winner of the 2014 Best of the Super Juniors and 2015 Super Jr. Tag Tournaments, and the American promotion Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), where he won the 2014 Battle of Los Angeles. He has previously wrestled for Chikara, where he mainly worked under a mask as Helios.

    Professional wrestling career

    Mastertronic

Mastertronic was originally a publisher and distributor of low-cost computer game software founded in 1983. Their first games were distributed in mid-1984. At its peak the label was the dominant software publisher in the UK, a position achieved by selling cassette-based software at the £1.99 and £2.99 price-points. As well as being an exclusive wholesaler of computer games to Woolworth's, Toys "R" Us and other leading retailers, Mastertronic sold software in outlets such as newsagents which had not been previously associated with the software market.

Later diversification included the setting up of US operations to source and distribute their software, as well as an unsuccessful arcade games division (Arcadia Systems). However, it was their decision to market the Sega Master System in the UK that ultimately proved most successful. It resulted in the Master System outselling its rival, the NES throughout the 8-bit era and was cited by some as Virgin Group's reason for investing in the company (and later buying it outright).

    Let's Dance (David Bowie album)

Let's Dance is a 1983 album by David Bowie. Co-produced by Chic's Nile Rodgers, the album contained three of his most successful singles; the title track, "Let's Dance", reached No. 1 in the UK, US and various other countries, "Modern Love" and "China Girl" both reached No. 2 in the UK. "China Girl" was a new version of a song which Bowie had co-written with Iggy Pop for the latter's 1977 album The Idiot. The album also contains a re-recorded version of the song "Cat People (Putting Out Fire)" which had been a minor hit for Bowie a year earlier. Let's Dance was a stepping stone for the career of the Texas blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan, who played on it. The album was released as a limited edition picture disc in 1983. Let's Dance has sold 10.7 million copies worldwide, making it Bowie's best-selling album.Let's Dance is Bowie's 18th official album release since his debut in 1967, including two live albums, one covers album (Pin Ups, 1973), and a collaboration with the Philadelphia Orchestra (1977).

    Connected At The Heart

    by: Ricochet

There is a picture in the pocket of my shirt
I always keep you next to me
When I'm away from you all I do is hurt
    I think about you constantly
But you're always with me deep inside
I can feel you when I close my eyes
We are connected at the heart
Nothing on earth can keep the two of us apart
Time has no meaning, distance has no power
It's never too late, no matter how long
    We're never that far
We are connected at the heart
Every night I get down on my knees and pray
I know God's listening to me
Sometimes I have to work a little on my faith
But I don't have to see Him to believe
Isn't that a little bit like you and me
We're not always eye to eye but I know we
We are connected at the heart
Nothing on earth can keep the two of us apart
Time has no meaning, distance has no power
It's never too late, no matter how long
    We're never that far
We are connected at the heart
    Part of each other
    One and the same
    Blood of my blood
    Soul of my soul
We are connected at the heart
Nothing on earth can keep the two of us apart
Time has no meaning, distance has no power
It's never too late, no matter how long
    We're never that far
We are connected at the heart
We are connected at the heart
