Resurrection (from the Latin noun resurrectio -onis, from the verb rego, "to make straight, rule" + preposition sub, "under", altered to subrigo and contracted to surgo, surrexi, surrectum + preposition re-, "again", thus literally "a straightening from under again") is the concept of a living being coming back to life after death. It is a religious concept, where it is used in two distinct respects: a belief in the resurrection of individual souls that is current and ongoing (Christian idealism, realized eschatology), or else a belief in a singular resurrection of the dead at the end of the world. The resurrection of the dead is a standard eschatological belief in the Abrahamic religions. In a number of ancient religions, a dying-and-rising god is a deity which dies and resurrects. The death and resurrection of Jesus is an example of resurrection, and this instance is the central focus of Christianity.
The soul is believed by some to be the divine and immortal part of the human being, and some believe it is the actual vehicle by which people are resurrected.
Resurrection is fifth album from Australian heavy metal band Dungeon. It was recorded and released in a different version in 1999. This updated version was completely re-recorded during the sessions for the One Step Beyond album and released in 2005. It was released by LMP worldwide and in Australia by Modern Invasion.
The song "Severed Ties" replaces a track called "Let it Go" from the original album which was written by ex-member Justin Sayers and which he was performing live with his band Platinum Brunette. The Australian version contained versions of "Playing to Win" by Little River Band and the Thin Lizzy song "Waiting for an Alibi" with lead vocals by Marshall. A special edition of the album also included a symphonic version of "Severed Ties" with a violin part by Karyn Hamilton.
Available in a digipack with a bonus live CD from Dungeon's 2003 Japanese tour and a MPG of I Am Death.

"Resurrection (Paper, Paper)" is a 2000 rap single by Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, the first single released from their album BTNHResurrection.
The single was to represent what Bone Thugs were doing at the time. There was a lot of speculation that Bizzy Bone was leaving the group and people wanted to know where the band stood. Flesh-n-Bone was featured on the CD version of the song, but did not appear in the video. Even though the single did not perform well on the charts, the song is considered somewhat of a classic by Bone fans because of its well-directed video and memorable instrumentation and lyrics. This is the first of three times that Flesh-n-Bone was featured in a CD version of a song, but not featured in a video. The others were "Can't Give It Up" and "Change the World". However, when the song stops and the group says "Flesh, Flesh we in the Flesh" a view from him rapping in the "East 1999" music video plays behind them.
Resurrection refers to the literal coming back to life of the biologically dead.
