Reservoir Media Management

Reservoir Media Management is a New York City based boutique music publisher which publishes multi-genre music, concentrating on hits. The company was founded in 2007 after acquiring the music catalogs of John Rich, "Big Kenny" Alphin, Vicky McGehee, and Bruce Roberts. In 2010, Reservoir Media Management bought the TVT Music Enterprises, LLC publishing catalog, including works by songwriters including Scott Storch, Devo Springsteen, and Big Reese, and performing artists Christina Aguilera, John Legend, and 50 Cent.

In 2011 Reservoir entered into an exclusive publishing agreement with Nate “Danjahandz” Hills, who has written and produced for several top pop and R&B artists, including Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Nelly Furtado, M.I.A., Jennifer Lopez, and Keri Hilson. The company continued its growth throughout 2012 with the additions of the Black Fountain Music and Blackground catalogs, which include songs performed by Aaliyah, Lil Wayne, Timbaland, and JoJo. Reservoir then acquired Reverb Music, whose compositions include "Cruel Summer" by Bananarama, "Gotta Get Thru This" by Daniel Bedingfield, "Stop The Rock" by Apollo 440, "Man Down" by Rihanna, and the theme song to the internationally aired television series, The X Factor. The same year, the company signed rapper 2 Chainz and singer-songwriter-producer Slakah The Beatchild.
