The station currently known as WTMX began as WCLR in December 1970; prior to that, its call sign was WRSV (for Radio Skokie Valley). The station ran a "beautiful music" format for years. The station played easy listening renditions of pop standards/other songs along with a few vocalists and AC artists. The station dropped the instrumentals in the late 1970s and became a very Soft AC station still known as MOR playing a blend of easy listening vocals and soft pop songs from the 1950s to 1970s.
By the early 1980s, the station evolved to a straight-ahead AC format with studios located at 8833 Gross Point Road in Skokie, Illinois. WCLR was "Chicago's Lite Rock" from about 1982 until 1989. The station was best known for its soft rock starsets in the 1980s and their Saturday night all-request oldies program.
Renaissance Recordings was a British record label, founded by the club Renaissance in 1994. In went into administration in September 2010 and the back catalogue was sold to Phoenix Music International Ltd. After a year of inactivity, in July 2011 it was announced that Renaissance had been reborn, with founder and original owner Geoff Oakes once again guiding the brand. Chronicles was the twelfth Magic: The Gathering set, and the first compilation set, released in July 1995 by Wizards of the Coast. The set is one of two sets that have been sold in twelve-card booster packs, the other having been Alliances.
Chronicles introduced no new cards; the set was designated as an extension of the 4th Edition core set for the purpose of tournament play. Chronicles consists entirely of cards reprinted from the first four Magic: the Gathering expansions: Arabian Nights, Antiquities, Legends, and The Dark. The cards in Chronicles are white-bordered, in accordance with the Wizards of the Coast policy of the time that black-bordered cards would only be reprinted with white borders. In addition, the game text on many Chronicles cards was updated to reflect then-current rules, rulings, and templating. For example, Cyclone from Arabian Nights instructed players to place "chips" on the card to mark its status, while the Chronicles reprint of Cyclone used "counters" instead, as had become standard usage.
Renaissance (Tamla T-325L) was a critically acclaimed 1973 album by R&B group The Miracles on Motown Records' Tamla label, noted as the first-ever album by the group not to feature original lead singer Smokey Robinson on lead vocals. Instead, his replacement, new lead singer, Billy Griffin did the lead chores on this album.
Once Robinson decided to retire from the group to concentrate on his duties as Vice President of the Motown Record Corporation, Miracles members Claudette Robinson (Smokey's then-wife) and Marv Tarplin decided to leave as well. Tarplin, after staying for a year, decided to leave the Miracles and began touring and working with Smokey. Claudette retired to concentrate on raising the couple's two children, Berry and Tamla. The other Miracles, Bobby Rogers, Pete Moore, and Ronnie White, decided to conduct a nationwide search for a singer to replace Smokey. After auditioning several hopefuls, the group decided on Billy Griffin, a native of Baltimore, Maryland. In the 2006 Miracles DVD release The Definitive Performances (1963-1987), Miracles Pete Moore & Bobby Rogers, commented that the group decided on Billy because, in addition to being a great singer,he also demonstrated " some writing ability". Smokey Robinson served as the album's executive producer, and took pains to add, in the album's liner notes, that Billy was "a determined young man with a fresh new sound, who is sure to become dynamic in the industry". In his answer to "unnamed skeptics" who claimed that The Miracles couldn't make it without him ...his reply was, concerning the new lineup, " All you have to do is listen".
コレクション (Collection) is a compilation album released on Valbergé Recordings featuring a collection of Suicidal Tendencies recordings from their years at Epic Records. The CD-only release was packaged in a 3D folding Digipak.
In computer science, a collection or container is a grouping of some variable number of data items (possibly zero) that have some shared significance to the problem being solved and need to be operated upon together in some controlled fashion. Generally, the data items will be of the same type or, in languages supporting inheritance, derived from some common ancestor type. A collection is a concept applicable to abstract data types, and does not prescribe a specific implementation as a concrete data structure, though often there is a conventional choice (see Container for type theory discussion).
Some different kinds of collections are lists, sets, multisets, trees and graphs. An enumerated type may be either a list or a set.
Fixed-size arrays (or tables) are usually not considered a collection because they hold a fixed number of data items, although they commonly play a role in the implementation of collections. Variable-size arrays are generally considered collections.
Collection is a greatest hits album by Tracy Chapman, it features tracks from her first five studio albums. The tracks include her two U.S. Top Tens, "Fast Car" and "Give Me One Reason". Long time since I've seen Your smile
But when I close my eyes, I remember, I remember
You were no more than a child
But then so was I, young and tender
Time carries on
I guess it always will
But deep inside my heart
Time stands still
Stay for a while
Well, it's good to see Your smile
And I love your company
Stay for a while
And remember the day's gone by
For a moment it can seem
Just the way it used to be
Snowfalls, phone calls, broken hearts
Clear summer days, warm and lazy
Long walks, long talks after dark
We vowed we'd never forget, now it's hazy
Time takes its toll
And time alters our view
It would be nice
To spend some time with you
Oh, stay for awhile
Well, it's good to see Your smile
And I love your company
Stay for a while
And remember the day's gone by
For a moment it can seem
Just the way it used to be
Stay, please stay
Stay, stay, stay
One, two, one, two
Stay for awhile
Well, it's good to see Your smile
And I love your company
Oh, stay for a while
And remember the day's gone by
For a moment it can seem
Just the way it used to be
Stay for a while
Oh, it's good to see Your smile
And I love your company
Won't you stay with me for a while
And remember the day's gone by
For a moment it can seem
Just the way it used to be
The way it used to be, be
The way it used to be
Now, now, now, now, now, now
