Remedy UK

Remedy UK was a pressure group representing junior doctors in the United Kingdom. The organisation was set up by four junior doctors in 2007 to campaign against UK government-led medical training reforms known as Modernising Medical Careers(MMC) and their implementation through the Medical Training Application Service (MTAS). Remedy UK was created in response to what was perceived to be an insufficiently robust response by the official doctors' trade union, the BMA, and professional associations (Royal Colleges of Medicine).

Remedy UK had over 13,000 members and campaigns as a grassroots doctors' organisation. It was supported by optional subscriptions from its members.

Remedy UK announced its closure on May 15, 2012, saying it had been "unable to sustain the management and leadership that an effective Remedy needs."

"Remedy" is a song recorded by English singer and songwriter Adele for her third studio album 25 (2015). The song was written by Adele Adkins and Ryan Tedder, while production of the song was provided by the latter. Lyrically, the track is about the singer's best friend, her grandparents, her boyfriend, and her son. Musically, the song is a pop ballad. "Remedy" received positive reviews from critics, with some describing it as an earnest expression of devotion.

The song peaked at number 30 on the Finland Chart and number 30 on the Switzerland Chart. It also charted in Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Scotland, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Composition

"Remedy" was written by Adele and Ryan Tedder, and produced by the latter. It has been called a "turning point for 25 since it restored her confidence". After Tedder mentioned the word "remedy", which reminded Adele of her child, the song was written and recorded in one day.

Jekyll + Hyde

Jekyll + Hyde is the fourth major-label studio album by the Zac Brown Band. It was released on April 28, 2015. The album's lead single, "Homegrown", was released on January 12, 2015. "Heavy Is the Head", featuring Chris Cornell, was released two months later to the rock format. "Loving You Easy" is the album's second release to country, and third single overall.

Promotion

The band played the songs "Homegrown" and "Dress Blues" from the album at the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship pregame show. On March 7, 2015, the band performed "Homegrown" and "Heavy Is the Head" on Saturday Night Live. The band is set to embark on their Jekyll + Hyde Tour beginning in May in promotion of the album.

Commercial performance

The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 album chart on the week ending May 3, 2015 selling 228,000 equivalent album units (214,000 copies of traditional sales), making it their third number one album on the Billboard 200 chart. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA on September 11, 2015. As of January 2016, the album has sold 608,9s00 copies in the United States.
