"Remedy" is a song recorded by English singer and songwriter Adele for her third studio album 25 (2015). The song was written by Adele Adkins and Ryan Tedder, while production of the song was provided by the latter. Lyrically, the track is about the singer's best friend, her grandparents, her boyfriend, and her son. Musically, the song is a pop ballad. "Remedy" received positive reviews from critics, with some describing it as an earnest expression of devotion.

The song peaked at number 30 on the Finland Chart and number 30 on the Switzerland Chart. It also charted in Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Scotland, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Composition

"Remedy" was written by Adele and Ryan Tedder, and produced by the latter. It has been called a "turning point for 25 since it restored her confidence". After Tedder mentioned the word "remedy", which reminded Adele of her child, the song was written and recorded in one day.

Remedy is an American 2005 crime drama directed by Christian Maelen and written by Sandy Eiges, Nicholas Reiner, and Charlotte Wise. The film stars Maelen, Arthur Nascarella, Jon Doscher, Frank Vincent, Vincent Pastore, and Chuck Zito.

Production

Produced by Jon Doscher, Christian Maelen and Nicholas Reiner filming took place during April and May 2003, in New Jersey and New York City. The film also features the acting debut of Ace Frehley of Kiss, who also contributes to the soundtrack.

Synopsis

The film is about a New York City artist who claims to have witnessed his best friend's murder. Due to a drug problem, he cannot recall what happened, and is the prime suspect. He desperately tries to remember before it is too late.

Remedy (TV series)

Remedy is a Canadian medical drama series which premiered on Global on February 24, 2014.

The series stars Dillon Casey as Griffin Conner, a medical school dropout working as an orderly at the fictional Bethune General Hospital in Toronto, where his father Allen (Enrico Colantoni) is the chief of medical staff. The cast also includes Genelle Williams, Sara Canning, Sarah Allen, Patrick McKenna, Catherine Disher, Matt Ward, and Martha Burns.

The series is produced by Indian Grove Productions. Production and casting were announced in fall 2013. On May 1, 2014 Global announced that Remedy had been renewed for a 10 episode second season. Filming for the second season began September 15, 2014 and is set to premiere on March 23, 2015. The trailer for season 2 was premiered on ET Canada's New Years Eve @ Niagara Falls show, introduced by new cast member Niall Matter. On May 22, 2015 show creator, Greg Spottiswood, tweeted that Global had cancelled Remedy.

Plot

The series follows Griffin Conner (Dillon Casey), son of the Chief of Staff (Enrico Colantoni), brother to both a surgeon (Sara Canning) and a nurse (Sarah Allen), and now—medical school dropout. Having been kicked out in a haze of disgrace, Griffin is forced to return to Bethune General Hospital as its newest porter, where he gets a new perspective on a world he thought he knew through a colorful cast of cleaners, project aides, transport workers, and more.

Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole Scherzinger (/niˈkoʊl ˈʃɜːrzɪŋər/; born Nicole Prescovia Elikolani Valiente; June 29, 1978) is an American recording artist, actress and television personality. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, she performed in various singing competitions and musicals before joining American rock band Days of the New as a backing vocalist and later becoming one of the members of the ill-fated girl group Eden's Crush in 2001. She rose to fame as the lead singer of the burlesque troupe turned-recording act, the Pussycat Dolls becoming one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time. Craig David

Craig Ashley David (born 5 May 1981) is an English singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 1999 featuring on the single "Re-Rewind" by Artful Dodger. David's debut album, Born to Do It, was released in 2000, after which he has released a further five studio albums and worked with a variety of artists such as Tinchy Stryder, Kano, Jay Sean, Rita Ora and Sting. David has 14 UK Top 10 singles, and six UK Top 20 albums, selling over 13 million records worldwide as a solo artist.

David has been nominated for twelve Brit Awards: three times for Best British Male, and twice received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

Early life

David was born in Southampton, Hampshire, the son of Tina (née Loftus), a retail assistant at Superdrug, and George David, a carpenter, and grew up in the Holyrood estate. David's father is Afro-Grenadian and David's mother is Anglo-Jewish and related to the founders of the Accurist watch-making company; David's maternal grandfather was an Orthodox Jew and his maternal grandmother a convert to Judaism. David's parents separated when he was eight and he was raised by his mother. He attended Bellemoor School and Southampton City College.

Reception

Allmusic gave the album four out of five stars stating "Cold's songwriting isn't always great and they're too concerned with adolescent angst and horror ("Everyone Dies," "Insane," "Serial Killer," etc.), but the band's sound is fully formed, resulting in a strong debut."

Although the album didn't have excellent sales and lacked heavy promotion, it was ranked the 9th best album of 1998 by Kerrang!
