Tag (game)

Tag (also known as it, tip you're it or tig [in regions of Britain], and many other names) is a playground game that involves one or more players chasing other players in an attempt to "tag" or touch them, usually with their hands. There are many variations; most forms have no teams, scores, or equipment. Usually when a person is tagged, the tagger says, "Tag, you're it".

Basic rules

A group of players (two or more) decide who is going to be "it", often using a counting-out game such as eeny, meeny, miny, moe. The player selected to be "it" then chases the others, attempting to get close enough to "tag" one of them (touching them with a hand) while the others try to escape. A tag makes the tagged player "it" - in some variations, the previous "it" is no longer "it" and the game can continue indefinitely while in others, both players remain "it" and the game ends when all players have become "it".

There are many variants which modify the rules for team play, or place restrictions on tagged players' behavior. A simple variation makes tag an elimination game, so those tagged drop out of play. Some variants have a rule preventing a player from tagging the person who has just tagged them (known as "no tags-back", "no returns", or "can't tag your master").

Release (film)

Release is a 2010 British film starring Daniel Brocklebank, Garry Summers, Bernie Hodges and Wayne Virgo. The film was written and directed by Darren Flaxstone and Christian Martin.

Plot

Father Jack Gillie (Daniel Brocklebank) enters prison a guilty man, convicted for a crime that sees the Church abandon him, his congregation desert him and his faith challenged. His fellow inmates believe he's been convicted of paedophilia and begin to plant the seed of doubt into the mind of his teenage cellmate; Rook (Wayne Virgo). After rescuing Rook from a beating Jack now becomes the inmates prey. Protection comes in the unlikely form of a prison officer, Martin (Garry Summers) with whom Jack falls in love and together they embark on a dangerous and illicit affair behind cell doors. As trust forms between the two men so Jack feels enabled to confess the truth behind the crime for which he has been imprisoned. Emboldened by Jack's honesty the two men plan their lives together post Jack's release.

Release (David Knopfler album)

Release is David Knopfler's first solo album after leaving Dire Straits. It was released in 1983 on the Peach River and Passport labels, and in 1997 on the Paris label.

Kim Possible

Kim Possible is an American animated children's television series created by Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle for Disney Channel. It centers on Kim Possible, a teenage crime-fighter who has the task of dealing with worldwide, family, and school issues every day. The show is action-oriented, but also has a light-hearted atmosphere and often lampoons the conventions and clichés of the secret-agent and action genres.

Kim Possible was the second animated Disney Channel Original Series, and the first series to be produced by Walt Disney Television Animation, in association with Disney Channel. Originally broadcast from 2002 to 2007, Kim Possible was Disney Channel's longest-running original animated series until it was surpassed by Phineas and Ferb, but still remains unique for being given one more season after the finale movie due to fan demand.

Premise

The show centers around teenage crime-fighter Kim Possible (voiced by Christy Carlson Romano) and her clumsy sidekick, Ron Stoppable (Will Friedle). Ron owns a pet naked mole-rat named Rufus (Nancy Cartwright), who proves an excellent aide to Ron and Kim in their many adventures. During the show, Kim and Ron progress through Middleton High School, starting in tenth grade in the pilot episode, "Crush", and ending with a graduation party as Seniors in the final episode, "Graduation". They also progress in relationship, starting out as best friends and becoming boyfriend and girlfriend at the end of season three. Most episodes revolve around Kim's attempt to balance her heroic life with her everyday life problems as a normal teenager, which are usually presented as a subplot.

Middleton (near Ludlow)

Middleton is a small village in south Shropshire, England. It is located 2.5 miles (4.0 km) northeast of Ludlow town centre, on the B4364 road (which runs between Ludlow and Bridgnorth), in the civil parish of Bitterley.

The settlement existed at the time of the Domesday Book (1086) when it had a mill on the Ledwyche Brook. At the time it formed part of the hundred of Culvestan, which merged into the new hundred of Munslow in the early 12th century.

For several hundred years it was known as Middleton Higford after its chief tenant Walter de Huggeford who had his main holding at Higford near Shifnal.

Middleton has a Norman chapel, much renovated in the 1850s, with a Norman motte next to it. It is a grade II* listed building.

Middleton Court nearby was built in 1864 by the Rouse-Boughton family of Downton Hall who owned most of the land around.

Brook House, built in the late 1500s, is a timber-framed moated manor house which is also Grade II* listed. Its late 18th Century privy, 17th and 18th Century outbuilding and kiln and its stables dated 1726 are all Grade II listed. Brook House Cottage (Grade II* listed) is medieval with 17th Century and 19th Century alterations.
