Main (English cricketer)

Main (full name and dates of birth and death unknown) was an English cricketer. Main's batting style is assumed to be left-handed.

Main made his first-class debut for Middlesex against the Marylebone Cricket Club at Lord's in 1830, with him making a further first-class appearance for the county against the same opposition in that year. In 1833, he made a third appearance in first-class cricket, this time for a team of left-handed players against the Marylebone Cricket Club at Lord's Cricket Ground. Main scored a total of 32 runs in this three matches, averaging 8.00, with a high score of 17.

Main (band)

Main were a British ambient band formed in 1991 by the guitarists Robert Hampson and Scott Dowson, the former members of Loop. They combined ambient sound with layers of electric guitars and dark, foreboding emotional overtones. In 2006, Hampson announced that Main had effectively been disbanded in favour of his solo work.

In October 2010, Hampson announced that he would be reactivating Main, and that along with his solo acousmatic work, he would start performing and recording in a more collaborative process with other sound artists.

In 2011, the German composer Stephan Mathieu joined Hampson for a current incarnation of Main.

Post-Suharto era

The Post-Suharto era in Indonesia began with the fall of Suharto in 1998 during which Indonesia has been in a period of transition, an era known in Indonesia as Reformasi (English: Reform). A more open and liberal political-social environment ensued following the resignation of authoritarian President Suharto, ending the three decades of the New Order period.

Issues over this period have included a push for a stronger democracy and civilian rule, elements of the military trying to retain their influence, a growing Islamism in politics and society, and demands for greater regional autonomy. The process of reformasi in Indonesia has experienced a greater freedom of speech in contrast to a greater censorship under the New Order. This has led to a more open political debate in the news media and increased expression in the arts. Events that have shaped Indonesia in this period include a bombing campaign by Islamic terrorists (including the 2002 Bali bombings) and the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami.

Reformation (Kiuas album)

Reformation is the second full-length studio album from Kiuas, released on May 24, 2006 by Spinefarm Records. On the some releases it features a cover titled; "Hunting Girl" by the progressive rock band, Jethro Tull.

Reformation (film)

Reformation is a 2015 melodramatic neo-noir short film. The film was directed by Hoyon Jung, and stars Ty Trumbo, Ida Nilsen, Kevin Keller and VaLynn Rain.

It held its world premiere on 11 April 2015 at the Tiburon International Film Festival. It has been accepted in various film festivals, including Wizard World Comic Con's Con Film Festival: Philadelphia and Sacramento and San Francisco Frozen Film Festival. The film was released online on 01/10/2015.
