Red Velvet Car

Red Velvet Car is the fourteenth studio album by American hard rock band Heart, released worldwide on August 31, 2010 by Legacy Recordings. It peaked at No. 10 on the US Billboard 200 chart, and at No. 3 on the US Rock Albums Chart, making it Heart's first top 10 hit album in 20 years since 1990's Brigade. It contains the Billboard US Adult Contemporary Chart hit single "Hey You" (No. 26) and the Top Selling Rock Singles Chart hit "WTF" (No. 16).

The album was released with differing track lists according to format in different territories: the standard US CD release features 10 tracks, the European CD and US download version contain 12 tracks, whilst the Japanese CD and some exclusive download versions contain 13 tracks. Though the 13th track is "Listening" on the Japanese CD, some exclusive download versions substitute this for a live 2010 version of "Crazy on You".

Red Velvet (play)

Red Velvet is a 2012 play by Lolita Chakrabarti, dealing with the biography of the 19th century actor Ira Aldridge and his taking the role of Othello. It premiered at the Tricycle Theatre (directed by its new artistic director Indhu Rubasingham) from 11 October to 24 November 2012, with Aldridge played by Adrian Lester. It is currently playing again at the Garrick Theatre in London, 23 January - 27 February 2016.

Thomas M. Sipos of Hollywood Investigator wrote that it is a slasher film but not quite a horror film. And of the film's protagonist, wrote "He's psychotic, but he's also vulnerable, literate, and identifiable. He has more common with the suspense psychos of Psycho and Frenzy than with the superhuman psychos of Halloween and its progeny." Dread Central wrote that "Henry Thomas yet again proves to be one of those hidden gems", and that "Red Velvet is deranged and inspired in equal measures, sometimes both at the same time."
