Red Roses (Welsh: Rhos-goch, "red moor") is a village in Carmarthenshire, Wales.
Situated in south-west Carmarthenshire, bordering with Pembrokeshire, it forms part of the Eglwyscummin Community area with Ciffig and Marros which in turn forms part of the Laugharne Township ward. The village is situated around the main route to south Pembrokeshire, the A477, and the B4314 which is one of the main routes to the once popular holiday resort of Pendine.
Surrounded by farming land, the village is near to a number of holiday destinations and has two caravan parks. The local young farmers group were instrumental in creating a memorial garden resiting the memorial stone that lay very close to the main trunk road. A community centre, built in 2008, now occupies the site where an old Methodist Chapel lay abandoned for some time. The local public house - the Sporting Chance, which at one time was named Llwyngwair Arms has been closed since early March 2014.

Red Roses for Me is the debut studio album by the London-based band The Pogues and was released in October 1984. It is filled with traditional Irish music performed with punk influences. The band's approach of mixing traditional songs and ballads with frontman Shane MacGowan's "gutter hymns" about drinking, fighting and sex was innovative at the time. The title "Red Roses for Me" is the name of a play by Sean O'Casey, though his works do not show any direct influence upon the band. The album reached number 89 in the UK album charts.
The front of the album shows the band with the exception of drummer Andrew Ranken (pictured in inset) sitting in front of a picture of United States president John F. Kennedy. The back features Shane MacGowan pictured with his foot in a cast. Accordion player James Fearnley has a bottle sticking out of his coat, while bass player Cait O'Riordan is seen holding a can of beer.
Red Roses For Me is a single by The Dubliners and Niamh Kavanagh charting at No.13 in the Irish Charts in 1994. This was the last single Ronnie Drew would ever release with The Dubliners.
Red Roses for Me is a four-act play written by Irish playwright Seán O'Casey which premiered at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin in 1943. The story is set against the backdrop of the Dublin Lockout of 1913, events in which O'Casey himself had participated.

For Me (2x)
I can't think of the words to say to explain exactly why I'm still here.
How I was able to walk away with my life when death was so near.
For Me (2x)
Oh, Oh (2x)
I can't think of the words to say to explain exactly why I'm still here.
How I was able to walk away with my life when death was so near.
Your looking for an answer that might help you understand.
But he is the answer and to live is all apart of his plan.
It was God (2x)
That did it for me
(2x)
Nobody else could have done all of the things he has done for me
I put my trust in so many things, but so many things have failed me
It was God (2x)
That did it for me
(2x)
Just pause for a minute, think about his goodness, think about where he brought you from, and look at where you are right now. Its amazing, cause everything that the devil took from you has now been restored.
My joy, restored
He did it for me
(10x)
New house, new car
He did it for me
(2x)
New clothes, new shoes
(2x)
My joy, restored
He did it for me
