Red Hot!

Red Hot! is one of the many Sammy Hagar compilation albums from his Capitol Records era. This one compiling material from his two live albums released for the label, All Night Long and Live 1980. Tracks 1-6 were taken from All Night Long and tracks 7-11 were taken from Live 1980.

Song information

This compilation does nothing to correct the erred track break from Live 1980. Here though, the song "In The Night", which actually contained the main verse of two simultaneously played tracks, is omitted from this collection. What remains is the rest of "The Danger Zone", which is actually a Gary Pihl keyboard solo. The song "The Danger Zone" as it appears on the Danger Zone album is not actually represented on this, or any, live release.

Red Hot is RuPaul's third official album release. Red Hot consists of a mixture of house, pop, club/dance and R&B songs. It includes the three Top 10 Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart hits, "Looking Good, Feeling Gorgeous", "Workout" and "People Are People". Highlights include, "Are You Man Enough", "Hollywood USA", "Freaky/Kinky" and "Just a Little In & Out".

Transformers (toy line)

The Transformers (トランスフォーマー, Toransufomā) is a line of toys produced by the Japanese company Takara (now known as Takara Tomy) and American toy company Hasbro. The Transformers toyline was created from toy molds mostly produced by Japanese company Takara in the toylines Diaclone and Microman. Other toy molds from other companies such as Bandai were used as well. In 1984, Hasbro bought the distribution rights to the molds and rebranded them as the Transformers for distribution in North America. Hasbro would go on to buy the entire toy line from Takara, giving them sole ownership of the Transformers toy-line, branding rights, and copyrights, while in exchange, Takara was given the rights to produce the toys and the rights to distribute them in the Japanese market. The premise behind the Transformers toyline is that an individual toy's parts can be shifted about to change it from a vehicle, a device, or an animal, to a robot action figure and back again. The taglines "More Than Meets The Eye" and "Robots In Disguise" reflect this ability.

Red Hot (Debbie Gibson song)

Red Hot is a song written by Deborah Gibson and published by Creative Bloc Music, Ltd. in 1986 (rights now administered by Music Sales Corporation (ASCAP)). This song appeared on two Atlantic albums worldwide: the studio album Debbie Gibson – Out of the Blue (Atlantic LP 81780); and the soundtrack Fatal Beauty – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Atlantic LP 81809). Produced by John Morales and Sergio Munzibai for Another M+M Production Inc., arranged by Gibson and Morales, engineered by Peter Sturge and mixed by Morales, this track first went to retail as the B-side to Atlantic 89149 and DM 86641 "Donna Allen - Make It My Night."

In 1988, WEA Philippines released this song as a single (Atlantic Philippines ATR-0357) coincidentally with "Staying Together" (Atlantic 89033) in North America, Europe, Japan and Australia; the B-side is "Fallen Angel" (3:43), another album track on Out of the Blue. Atlantic Records UK released this song as B-side to the United Kingdom release of "Staying Together" (Atlantic UK A9020).

Red Hot (film)

Red Hot is a 1993 Canadian drama film directed by Paul Haggis. The film was Haggis' feature film directorial debut. It was filmed in Riga, Latvia, and it is set in Soviet Union-time Riga of 1950s.
