Rebelde (album)
Rebelde (English: Rebel) is the debut studio album by Mexican pop group RBD, released in November 2004 in Mexico and on January 11, 2005 in the United States.
The album was produced by Max DiCarlo, Carlos Lara, Armando Avila with Camilo Lara and Pedro Damián being the executive producers. The album features the 3 consecutive Mexican chart toppers hits, "Rebelde", main theme from the soap opera with the same name, "Solo Quédate En Silencio" and "Sálvame". A fourth single was released on radio only, "Un Poco De Tu Amor".
The album has sold 7,000,000 copies worldwide.

Their album went Diamond+Gold in Mexico, shipping 550,000 copies. Due the success of the Spanish language album, the band recorded a Portuguese languaged version of Rebelde, this being Rebelde (Edição Brasil). RBD became the first foreign act in Brazil to have two albums in different languages (Portuguese version and Spanish version of Rebelde) in the top ten at the same time (both albums peaked at number one). In 2006, the album was released in Spain. RBD topped the AFYVE Spain Albums Chart with their debut album "Rebelde" for five consecutive weeks.

Album
Albums of recorded music were developed in the early 20th century, first as books of individual 78rpm records, then from 1948 as vinyl LP records played at 33 1⁄3 rpm. Vinyl LPs are still issued, though in the 21st century albums sales have mostly focused on compact disc (CD) and MP3 formats. The audio cassette was a format used in the late 1970s through to the 1990s alongside vinyl.
An album may be recorded in a recording studio (fixed or mobile), in a concert venue, at home, in the field, or a mix of places. Recording may take a few hours to several years to complete, usually in several takes with different parts recorded separately, and then brought or "mixed" together. Recordings that are done in one take without overdubbing are termed "live", even when done in a studio. Studios are built to absorb sound, eliminating reverberation, so as to assist in mixing different takes; other locations, such as concert venues and some "live rooms", allow for reverberation, which creates a "live" sound. The majority of studio recordings contain an abundance of editing, sound effects, voice adjustments, etc. With modern recording technology, musicians can be recorded in separate rooms or at separate times while listening to the other parts using headphones; with each part recorded as a separate track.

Rebelde (Mexican telenovela)
Rebelde (Rebel in English) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Televisa and created by Cris Morena. It is a remake of a famous Argentine series Rebelde Way adapted for the Mexican audience, leading to differences in characters' backgrounds. The series ran for three seasons, the final episode airing in Mexico on June 2, 2006. Rebelde was replaced in June 2006 with Televisa's new series Código Postal.
The series is set at the Elite Way School, a prestigious private boarding high school in Mexico City with a major plot line revolving around a group of students forming a pop band. Additional subplots involve the school's faculty and the students' parents. One trademark of the show is the random use of English words and phrases, often used by fresa characters.
A notable aspect of the series is that the actors playing the bandmembers are themselves in an actual band named RBD, and perform most of the music used on the show. They have been extremely successful in their own right, becoming one of the most popular acts in Latin America and touring internationally.
Rebelde (comics)
Rebelde is a Mexican comic book series, published by ¡Ka-Boom! Estudio, based on the telenovela of the same title. The comic was first published April 2006. The series' art was advertised as being based on the style of Japanese manga, but evidently it doesn't have the same format, art style, or structure, thus leading to believe that there is the possibility that the producer Pedro Damián referred to it as manga only as a publicity stunt to attract a larger audience, aided by the fact that Ka-Boom! Estudio has never produced a single Manga work before, focusing only on American style comic.
The artistic team is formed by Rebeca Soriano, writer; with art (in the first 2 issues) by Jorge Reséndiz, inks by Eridan Zumaya and color by Guillermo Piña; writing direction by Susana Romero; art direction by Oscar González Guerrero, and the direction and editing of the project by Oscar González Loyo. Future artists in the series will be Horacio Sandoval (pencils) and Ricardo Nava (inks).
