Park Jung-suk (StarCraft player)

Park Jung-suk, also known as Reach or [Oops]Reach (born 27 December 1983) is a professional South Korean StarCraft player.

Park, who also goes by the usernames Six_Devil_nO.1, ChoGoSy or TechniCal, is recognized as one of the best Protoss players in the world, an accomplishment for which he has been nicknamed "Hero Toss". He is skillful at macromanagement and does successful psionic storms and dragoon dancing, but plays relatively inconsistently against Zerg. He won the 2002 Sky Ongamenet StarLeague, beating SlayerS `BoxeR` with a 3-1 score. He uses a Logitech optical mini (a gift from his fanclub) and Samsung DT-35 Black keyboard.

Park was the first player to achieve 100 Proleague victories, an accomplishment commemorated when he and Lee Jaedong (the second player to reach that benchmark) formed prints of their mouse-controlling hands in clay in a September 2009 ceremony.

Park is now a coach for League of Legends and Tekken team NaJin e-mFire in Korea.

Reach (Eyes Set to Kill song)

"Reach" is a song from an American metalcore band Eyes Set to Kill. It was released February 5, 2008 and was the lead single of the band from their debut album Reach. Alexia Rodriguez is now the vocals after Lindsey Vogt left. An acoustic version of the song will be included on Lexia's debut Underground Sounds.

Music video

The music video is shot at an old room of an eerie Victorian home. The video is about a girl (Alexia Rodriguez) who is packing her clothes. There are shots of the band playing the song. She is wondering inside the old house with many light bulbs. She picks her things - a guitar, a bag, and a microphone. In the later part, she's in bed singing this part, "I try to reach you but I fall". When the song is about to finish, she leaves the house with her things and walks down in a car junkyard.

Reach (brand)

Reach is a brand of oral hygiene products, including toothbrushes, dental floss and mouthwash. The brand started from Reach toothbrushes developed by DuPont in 1976.

History

70s

1976 - DuPont enters toothbrush market after 4 years of research conducted by "bio-dental team" from Tufts University, headed by Percy H. Hill Jr., consultant to Applied Ergonomics company. Reach Toothbrush was the first ergonomically designed toothbrush, that proved significantly better in clinical trials and spawned a whole new field of “toothbrush design”.

1976 article at Chicago Tribune highlights the following unique selling propositions of the new toothbrush: "an angled-shaped four-sided handle (for comfortable gripping) with an extended neck (that makes hard-to-reach areas more accessible), and a compact head topped with bilevel bristles".

DuPont started new toothbrush promotion in April 1976 first in Green Bay, Wisconsin, then moved to Chicago, with advertising in newspapers and on TV.

1977 - Johnson & Johnson acquires Reach brand from DuPont, outmaneuvering Procter & Gamble.

List of Mortal Kombat characters

This is a list of playable characters from the Mortal Kombat fighting game series and the games in which they appear. The series takes place in a fictional universe composed of six realms, which were created by the Elder Gods. The Elder Gods created a fighting tournament called Mortal Kombat to reduce the wars between the realms. The first Mortal Kombat game introduces a tournament in which Earthrealm can be destroyed if it loses once again.

The Earthrealm warriors manage to defeat the champion Goro and tournament host Shang Tsung, but this leads Tsung to search for other ways to destroy Earthrealm. Since then, every game features a new mortal who wishes to conquer the realms, therefore violating the rules of Mortal Kombat. By Mortal Kombat: Deception, most of the main characters had been killed by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi (neither of whom were playable in the game), but by Mortal Kombat: Armageddon all of them return.

Blaze Bayley

Blaze Bayley (born Bayley Alexander Cooke, 29 May 1963) is an English singer, musician, songwriter, and lyricist. He was the lead singer of Wolfsbane from 1984 to 1994, and currently from 2010 following reunions in 2007 and 2009. Bayley was also the lead singer for Iron Maiden from 1994 to 1999. Since then, he has embarked on a solo career.

Early life

Bayley was born Bayley Alexander Cooke in Birmingham, England on 29 May 1963.

Career

Wolfsbane (1984–1994, 2007–present)

Bayley started his musical career as the lead vocalist of Wolfsbane, upon their formation in 1984. The first album, Live Fast, Die Fast, was released in 1989.

Prior to this, they had recorded three demos entitled Wolfsbane (1985), Dancin' Dirty (1987) and Wasted but Dangerous (1988). This last one was recorded at Square Dance Studios, Derby, U.K.. They were the supporting act for Iron Maiden's UK division of their No Prayer on the Road tour in 1990. Wolfsbane's second release, an EP titled All Hell's Breaking Loose Down at Little Kathy Wilson's Place, was released the same year. The band's second full studio album Down Fall the Good Guys, was released in 1991, giving them their only UK Chart entry with their single "Ezy" charting at No. 68.

Blaze (toy)

Blaze was a rocking-horse toy produced by Mattel toymakers and introduced in 1961. Blaze was featured prominently during children's television advertising (Mattel was the very first toymaker to advertise year around with television commercials). Unlike other rocking-horses of the time, Blaze was mounted on a stand that was said to be "untippable" and had no springs. The apparatus prevented pinched fingers, and was fitted out with a mechanism that moved the horses legs in "real life action." Another Mattel feature allowed Blaze to talk when you pulled his "Magic Ring." His talking voice unit was the very same one produced by Mattel and unveiled in 1960 in its talking Chatty Cathy doll, and later toys like the Talking Mister Ed puppet. Blaze could say 11 different things like, "How about some hay?"; he could also whinny and neigh. A toy like this, that could gallop and move realistically when the horse was rocked forward and backward, was something special.

Blaze was made of what Mattel called "hi-impact plastic" with black-and-white markings (a pinto pony), and a molded black saddle and red blanket. Blaze also had attached reins, fixed hand-posts, and 2-position foot rests. The stand was made of 1-inch tubular steel and was advertised as being "untippable." Saddle height was 29 inches and was recommended for ages 1–7. Blaze was marketed in most retail catalogs, such as Sears, J.C. Penney, and Montgomery Wards. When first issued, Blaze did not have the talking feature, this was added very quickly after his initial release, so there may be versions of this toy that do not, and never did, talk.
