Randhir Singh (1878–1961) was a Sikh leader who started the Gurdwara Sudhaar Movement, and founded the Akhand Kirtani Jatha.
Randhir Singh was born as Basant Singh in Narangwal, Ludhiana district, Punjab on July 7, 1878 in a Sikh family. His father Natha Singh worked as a District Inspector of Schools and as a Judge in the High Court of the State of Nabha. He completed his schooling in Nabha and higher education from Government and Foreman Christian Colleges at Lahore. Singh wrote various books on Sikh theology, philosophy, and the Sikh way of life. He was charged in 1914 with waging war against the British Crown and had to undergo life-imprisonment from 1914 to 1931. He died on Vaisakhi, April 13, 1961 and his cremation took place at the lake between Gujjarwal and Narangwal.

Raja Randhir Singh (born 18 October 1946) is a former Olympic-level trap and skeet shooter and now sports administrator. He is currently the sole representative for India on the International Olympic Committee. He is a 1979 recipient of the Arjuna Award.
He was born to Raja Bhalindra Singh, son of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala. He was educated in Col. Brown School, Dehra Dun and earned a B.A. in History from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.He is married to Rani Uma Kumari of Sirmur.
He comes from a family of influential sporting administrators. His uncle, Test cricketer Maharaja Yadavindra Singh, played an important part in lobbying for and then organizing the first Asian Games in 1951 in Delhi. His father Raja Bhalender Singh was a member of the IOC from 1947 to 1992 and helped bring the 9th Asian Games back to New Delhi in 1982.
He made his competitive senior shooting debut as an eighteen-year-old when he was part of the winning trap shooting team at the Indian National Championships in 1964. His team defended the title the next year, and he won his first national individual title in 1967 in skeet. He went on to win multiple titles at national level in both skeet and trap shooting.
Randhir Singh (2 January 1922 – 31 January 2016) was a Marxist scholar, political theorist and teacher from India. His native village was Manuke in present day Moga district of Punjab, India. However, he was brought up in Lahore where his father was working as a doctor. He is known as one of the founders of the student movement in the country in the 1930s and a freedom fighter who remained in jail during India's freedom movement in the 1940s. Most of the period he taught at Delhi University. Although he was a teacher of political science, students from other subjects also used to attend his class and listen to Singh, even standing outside classroom premises or around windows as his classroom was always full. He retired as Professor from Delhi University in 1987. His death has got attention of some of the world leaders like Baburam Bhattarai who called Singh a great scholar of the present time.
