Ramprasad or Ram Prasad may refer to:
Ram Prasad is an Indian director of photography predominantly working in Telugu film industry, having done cinematographer for more than 50 films since he has entered the film industry. Initially he worked as assistant cameraman in feature films (Telugu) from 1986 to 1988 and then as associate cameraman in feature films (Telugu) from 1989 to 1993 and finally he got his first break in Pacha Thoranam as cinematographer for many hit movies like Hanuman Junction, Athanokkade, Maryada Ramanna, Mirapakay, Yevadu, and Legend.
C. Ram Prasad was born to the couple Sri C. Madhav Rao and Smt. Subbalakshmi in 1965. His father Sri C. Madhav Rao is a makeup man in South India and mother a housewife. He spent his earlier years in Chennai where his father was working as a makeup man. While his father inspired Ram Prasad to make a decision about his career and it was the film industry that supported his decision of joining the industry. Initially, like everyone else Ram Prasad also struggled in his life. After completing his SSLC, he joined the Film Institute in Chennai to pursue a Diploma in Cinematography (D.F.T.-Diploma in Film Technology). His passion for photography was so much that he just dropped out of college to join as the assistant of Late VSR Swamy.
Ram Prasad Sharma is a Bharatiya Janata Party politician from Assam. He is an advocate at the Gauhati High Court, and has been fielded as the candidate from the Tezpur constituency by his party in the Indian general election, 2014 which he won. He did his Bachelor of Laws From Tura Law College in 1980-81 and Bachelor of Arts From Mendipathar College in 1976.
