Rajeev Mehta

Rajeev Mehta is an Indian actor working in Hindi TV shows and Bollywood movies. He is well known for his comic roles as Praful Parekh in the TV drama Khichdi and as Arvind Thakkar in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby. Rajeev Mehta is currently playing in Bh Se Bhade.

Mehta (first name and details unknown) was an Indian cricketer who played for Uttar Pradesh. He made a single first-class appearance for the team during the 1950–51 season against Assam. From the lower-middle order, he did not bat in the match, as Uttar Pradesh won by an innings margin.

Rajeev was born in Madurai. His father Balasubramaniya Mudaliar was working in Indian Telephone Industries, Bengaluru-560016, his mother was Rajeswari Ammal. He studied in ITI Vidya Mandir in Bengaluru-560016. After the death of his parents, Rajiv refused to marry anyone but agreed after the insistence of his brothers. He is married to Rani and has a daughter Meena Kamakshi and a son Kiran Surya.

Career

Rajiv applied an audition to act in films. He faced lot of struggle and rejection during auditions. Due to lack of opportunities, he worked as servant at Taj Coromandel Hotel. He got first prize for dancing for competition at hotel, his friends insisted him to try his luck again in films.
