Rahul Bhatt

Rahul "Sunny" Bhatt (Hindi: राहुल भट्ट) (born January 24, 1982), is an Indian fitness trainer and an aspiring film actor. The son of famous film director Mahesh Bhatt and Kiran Bhatt, Rahul gained unwitting notoriety in 2009 following revelations that David Headley, an accused in the 2008 Mumbai attacks, had befriended him. In an investigative report by PBS, Rahul Bhatt was described as a B-movie actor asking for favors to reveal more details about Headley.

Biography

The only son of Mahesh Bhatt and Kiran Bhatt (aka Loraine Bright) and brother of actress Pooja Bhatt, Rahul weighed 122 kilograms before he began working out. He thanks his fitness mentor Kaizzad Capadia. Rahul's father planned to launch him in 2007 with the film Suicide Bomber to be directed by Anurag Basu.

In September 2010, Rahul became part of the Indian television reality show, Bigg Boss 4, hosted by Salman Khan. After being evicted from the house, he claimed that the show was scripted.

Rahul Bhat (born 7 December 1977) is an Indian actor, producer, television personality and former model.

Career

Bhat played the role of Sameer on the television serial Heena, which aired for almost five years. Further, Bhat made his film debut in Yeh Mohabbat Hai, followed by the comedy Nayee Padosan. He then became a television producer, launching Filmtonic Entertainment in 2007 with the serial Meri Doli Tere Angana. This was followed by Chu Kar Mere Manko and Tum Dena Saath Mera. Bhat returned to acting in Anurag Kashyap's film Ugly. The film has won him great reviews at the Cannes film festivals and critics alike.
