Rafa' is a settlement in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

Rafaï

Rafaï is a town and sub-prefecture on the Chinko River, in the Central African Republic prefecture of Mbomou. Its estimated population is about 14,000 people.

History

The Sultanate of Rafaï was the last of Ubangi-Shari to still have its sultan. The last sultan assumed the throne in 1909.

Rafa (footballer)

Rafael López Gómez (Spanish pronunciation: [rafaˈel ˈlopeð ˈɣomeθ]; born 9 April 1985), commonly known as Rafa, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for German club SC Paderborn 07 mainly as a central defender.

Football career

Rafa was born in Peñafiel, Valladolid, Castile and León. A product of Real Valladolid's youth system, he made his debut with the first team on 8 February 2004 in a 0–2 away defeat against RCD Espanyol, but only managed, however, six appearances with the main squad in his first two professional seasons combined.

After a season-long loan at SD Eibar in the second division, Rafa returned to help Valladolid regain its La Liga status in 2007. He played 21 league matches in the following campaign.

In early July 2008, Rafa agreed to join Getafe CF on a Bosman transfer. He would spend most of his first year as left back, replacing out-of-form Lucas Licht who was sold shortly after.

In 2009–10 Rafa was mostly first-choice, benefitting from consecutive injuries from Mario. With 27 games and two goals from the player, the Madrid team finished sixth and qualified to the UEFA Europa League for the second time in its history.

Rafael Núñez (hacker)

Rafael Núñez (also known as RaFa) is a Venezuelan computer security professional and ethical hacker (white hat hacker).

He was a member of the World of Hell in 2001, he was included in the 2002 book The Hacker Diaries: Confessions of Teenage Hackers. and Rafael Núñez was accused of hacking into a United States Air Force computer and intentionally defacing and damaging the Defense Information Systems Agency in 2001. Dan Verton, writing for ComputerWorld in 2002, reported RaFa also held unauthorized privileged access to design documents for experimental next-generation spacecraft from NASA, along with other confidential operational documents. RaFa subsequently published these documents on the Web; according to Verton, RaFa "didn't understand the sensitivity of the information he had...".

Four years after the 2001 event, Núñez was arrested when he visited the US. He pled guilty to the charges, but spent only a few months in jail before being deported.

Rafa has been interviewed by numerous industry trade journals, including The New York Times, Znet Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, BBC,Businessweek, among many others; numerous talks globally as an information security expert.
