ReNu
ReNu is a brand of soft contact lens care products produced by Bausch & Lomb. By far the most popular brand of lens solutions until 2006, ReNu has rebranded its formulations as renu sensitive (formerly ReNu Multi-Purpose) and renu fresh (formerly ReNu MultiPlus), the latter containing a patented ingredient called hydranate, known by chemists as hydroxyalkylphosphonate, that removes protein deposits and can eliminate the need for a separate enzymatic cleaner.
ReNu with MoistureLoc
The brand made headlines in 2006 when a report from the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggested an increased incidence of fungal keratitis in people using Bausch & Lomb products. Bausch & Lomb subsequently suspended, then recalled shipments of one particular product, ReNu with MoistureLoc. Other ReNu formulations were unaffected, as they do not include the special ingredient in MoistureLoc, which was supposed to keep lenses moist but unfortunately also allowed microbes to survive the disinfection process.
Renu (renadive)
Renu (Renadive) Born in Kunnamkulam, August 30 1979. Son of Kallayil Vijayaraghavan, who was also a Photographer by profession. Renu (Renadive) holds a diploma in still photography from Indian Institute of Photography. He has worked for Kairali TV channel as a cameraman and covered 148 episodes of ' Verittakazhchakal ' with V. K. Sreeraman. In 2006 he joined Mr Alagappan,the Kerala State Award winner for the film Agnisakshi (1999 film), as an assistant Cinematographer and while working for him, he covered movies namely Photographer (film), Novel (film) , Thalappavu. Later he joined cinematographer Jibu Jacob and worked with him in movies namely Shakespeare M.A. Malayalam, Pranayakalam , Heartbeats. In 2007 he joined the team of Big B (film) and worked as an assistant Cinematographer to Sameer Thahir. He also worked in Anwar (2010 film) as an assistant Cinematographer. From there on till present has been a part of every single movie directed and produced by Amal Neerad. His talent came into light when he debuted as a Cinematographer in 5 Sundarikal, anthology of 5 movies directed by different directors in which he was the DOP for Kullante Bharya . He was the Associate cameraman and operating cameraman for the next Amal Neerad venture Iyobinte Pusthakam. He is the next Cinematographer for Amal Neerad's upcoming untitled film starring Dulquer Salmaan.
Renu (boxer)
Renu Gora represented Indian Women's Amateur boxing at 80 kg category and won Bronze medal in 2006 Women's World Amateur Boxing Championships. Been part of India's first Women's Amateur Boxing championship.
