    Quim (footballer, born 1959)

    Joaquim Carvalho de Azevedo (born 23 August 1959 in Vila do Conde), commonly known as Quim, is a Portuguese retired footballer who played as a defensive midfielder.

    Club career

    During a 16-year professional career, Quim played for four teams. He started out at hometown side Rio Ave FC, achieving two top division promotions with the club during his six-year spell, following which he signed for FC Porto, aged 25.

    With Porto, Quim was only regularly used in two of his five seasons, helping it to the conquest of three leagues, one cup and two supercups. He also played the first 45 minutes of the 1986–87 European Cup final, as the team came from behind to win it 2–1 against FC Bayern Munich for its first triumph in the European Cup; also from the bench, he also appeared in that year's Intercontinental Cup, won against C.A. Peñarol in extra time.

    For the 1989–90 campaign Quim joined lowly F.C. Tirsense, contributing with 2,500 minutes as the northerners achieved their best-ever classification in the top flight (ninth), after which he played with S.C. Farense for two years, also in the main category. He then returned to his first club Rio Ave for a couple of second level seasons, retiring from the game at nearly 35.

    Vagina

    The vagina is a muscular and tubular part of the female genital tract, which in humans extends from the vulva to the uterus. The outer vaginal opening may be partly covered by a membrane called the hymen. At the deep end, the cervix (neck of the uterus) bulges into the vagina. The vagina allows for sexual intercourse and childbirth, and channels menstrual flow, which occurs periodically as part of the menstrual cycle.

    The location and structure of the vagina varies among species, and may vary in size within the same species. Unlike mammalian males, who usually have the external urethral opening as the only opening for urination and reproduction, mammalian females usually have the urethral opening for urination and the vaginal opening for the genital tract. The vaginal opening is much larger than the nearby urethral opening, and both are protected by the labia in humans. In amphibians, birds, reptiles and monotremes, the cloaca is the single external opening for the gastrointestinal tract and the urinary and reproductive tracts.
