Queer theology
Queer theology is a theological methodology defined 1) as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex individuals "talking about God;" where this theology is done by and for LGBTQI individuals, by focusing on their specific needs. 2) talking about God in purposefully transgressive manners, especially in terms of social and cultural norms regarding gender and sexuality; where it seeks to unearth hidden voices or hidden perspectives that allows theology to be seen in a new light. and 3) talking about God in a way that "challenges and deconstructs the natural binary categories of sexual and gender identity. Based on the fact that it erases boundaries by being rooted on the perspective of queer theory that critiques sexual and gender identity. "
